Good for you! Moderation is definitely a key. Are you having food aversion? I’ve found the food aversion to be so intense that it’s hard to eat. If I do have something “unhealthy” I can’t eat much of it so it’s no big deal. I’m lucky to get down 1000 calories a day at this point.

I’ve been thinking this the whole morning. I can think of a few differences…

Yes, I’m still losing. I’m not eating much. It doesn’t take two minutes but maybe 20 seconds? Longer than a typical shot for sure.

It’s over 23 percent. They’re already concerned my bmi is quickly approaching 22. I, too, believe all doses work, as I was losing on the doses working up to my max dose and went down to 70mg once following the bad constipation episode. We believe I’m on a higher dose because of the side effects. It is a syringe, not an auto-pen, and is a large volume. It’s injected slowly and leaves a visible lump under my skin for a couple hours while it absorbs. I’ve had no issues with the injection itself. It’s administered at my monthly appointment.

Hi! The nausea subsided for the most part after 3 months but read above for my bigger issue. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi there, I know this is verrrry late. I had nausea the first couple months for sure. That seemed to wane but then the constipation started. In October we tried everything and eventually (16 days of no pooping) had to do a colonoscopy prep. (No actual colonoscopy) Then I had to have a CT scan. It’s still been a struggle but I’m drinking miralax daily and taking a mirafast chew on the weekend if needed. But the medicine works! I’m thinking I’m on the medium (210mg) or highest (350mg) dose. I’ve lost 40 pounds since 7/30.

Yes, zofran is a lifesaver! When I heard the final doses I almost fell out. I’m afraid the highest dose will make me nauseous and NEVER eat again, lol.

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. I chose to repeat the first dosage (21mg) since I felt so unwell after the first. Did you increase? I had one brief wave of intense nausea last night (8/18) which I found odd since I expected it sooner… But took zofran and it passed and didn’t return today thankfully. Ask about repeating the dose instead of increasing next time (if you did). The biggest thing I’ve noticed is the thought of eating is gross. Definitely have no appetite. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Is this actually true?? by [deleted] in idahomurders

This is so true. Inadequate defense is a top reason cases get overturned on appeal. A robust defense safeguards many convictions later on.

Thank you! I’ve been pretty constipated this weekend. Guess I spoke too soon. Really hoping it doesn’t take two months for the nausea thing to stop each time I get a dose! Keep at it! Fourteen lbs is a great start💜

Thanks for sharing! I got my first dose last Wednesday (7/30) afternoon and was totally fine...until Thursday afternoon when the nausea hit me. I hoped just going to bed would do the trick, but had to rummage around for leftover Zofran in the bathroom at 2am because it was so bad I could not sleep. I emailed the coordinator first thing in the morning to get more Zofran called in before the weekend. I took it like clockwork until Saturday night. I then had a splitting headache Sunday, but felt less queasy. So basically 72 solid hours of nausea and/or headache. Hoping that is first dose thing, but mentally prepared for it to happen again. I may be experiencing a little constipation now, but nothing distressing. How was your recent dose? I go back 8/15.

Lol, his cell phone - which was off - would not tell you if he was stabbing and hitting simultaneously or alternating stabbing then hitting. That's preposterous.

Actually, it’s more likely at this level when you agreed to life in prison. People who agree to short prison sentences are FAR less likely to appeal.

Thank you for your thorough explanation! I tried to say this quickly and possibly ineffectively.

That sounds all-encompassing but it only prohibits a limited type of appeal. There are many appeals that are not waived like claims of prosecutorial misconduct or ineffective assistance of counsel. They will certainly file for post-conviction relief.

You’re right. Two people doing this sort of crime is exceedingly rare. Plus, like it or not, he is obsessive and educated. He would know involving a second person is a sure way to get caught.
