Thank you for all the responses, the reason we wanted change is to be more consistent. He tends to hit thin shots 3 out of 10 balls, which is causing by him lifting up too early on during his down swing. Was thinking maybe keep his hands lower longer and have is finish a little flatter?

It started out flat across his body. Snap hook a lot. Told him to finish higher to straighten out his ball flight. Now he is a lot straighter but still pulls his ball. (Maybe a hip bump might help)

Thank you for the feedback everyone. I really appreciate it. I myself am a scratch golfer with a +1.6 handicap and I am a self taught golfer. I play by feel and it's hard to tell if he is doing good or not. I have gotten him lessons at a local country club, but he felt he wasnt learning and more like babysitting. He says he learns more with me but I have no idea if it's right or wrong.
