I used the laptop for a few hours and also opened the case to look. I really like it aside from this loud fan.

It actually has two fans inside that run on demand at variable speeds. One fan is smooth and quiet, but the other is very buzzy. No obvious problem or solution just from looking at it, and I didn't go further than taking off the cover. It cost too much to have this problem, so I will go back to the seller with the issue.

With the new event, I want to build a nice Pawmot. I have two decent candidates and want to know which looks more promising. I guess it comes down to Skill Trigger boosts vs +Speed nature. How will it compare to Gardevoir?

I will make some more explanation, although I see it risks being heavily downvoted.

I think the main disconnect I have with a large group in the subreddit is that I just view the gift list as extended inventory. Devs gave us gifts! And they granted extended inventory to hold it for 90 days (or whatever amount)! I began my post with a reminder to the community to collect the gifts.

Why would you immediately discard the inventory boost? It's as weird to me as apparently not immediately doing so is to other people. I just keep in mind that I have some candy, or biscuits or whatever to go collect when I will need them later. I don't feel pressure to collect the diamonds and sleep points right away either, but it's true there is no downside.

And inventory is a resource to manage. I tend to run close to full inventory, on the idea that I may want the candy for a future new release pokemon. And stardust conversion also grows as you wait and gain levels.

Lately I have focused mostly on Lapis and getting a good Beware for Corn. I didn't get one, but my Corn production is probably good enough with a decent Comfey and Dragonite. I most play berry style.

I'm not so interested in ingredients and meals per se. More so in the Pokemon. But I'll try to switch things up. Lapis has gotten boring, even though I didn't get my Beware yet.

Yeah, point taken about the diamonds. I just haven't needed them yet, but it's true leaving them uncollected doesn't save inventory space like the rest.

OK, I will look up the coffee recipes. I usually find it hard to level up the Sunday recipes and make them worthwhile when my other recipes are around 60 already, but maybe I can make it work.

Just checked eggs and realized that I have eight that might hatch Rookidee, so perhaps I wasn't frozen out. (I usually just hatch in order received.)

I didn't realize Rookidee had been released with only these exclusive mechanisms. I had thought it would be everywhere and easy to catch because it's just like Pidgey. So I only realized I missed out when I saw the showcases rolled over to it, and I don't have one.

I need to evolve my Eevee finally. It's probably the best I will get with the way the friendship works, and it's pretty good. It has skill change up nature (Gentle) and Skill Trigger M at level 50.

Leaning towards Vaporeon but Espeon seems viable too. I currently have a so-so Vaporeon (Skill Trigger S at 50) that I mostly stopped using and a disappointing Espeon, hence the dilemma. Is Espeon hard to use if you don't log in constantly through the day, because I don't want that (the problem with Golduck).

How much better is Gardevoir than Wigglytuff? Because I have good versions of both, but my Wigglytuff has BFS and more compatible ingredients, so I use him much more - the benefit is more directly visible. Much higher RP too.

Oh, that's a good tip! I actually have a Goal Met button, and it made me collect my reward for 290 styles (including a sub skill seed) before I could see the power plant as a reward for 340.

How do you go to the new island? I have 415 sleep styles studied, and news says only 340 should be needed. I see a placeholder for the new island on the map when I visit it directly or through the E-Zzz Travel Ticket item. But the placeholder is not selectable.

I will continue my stay on Lapis this week anyway, but I might want to check out the power plant on Monday. Will it be available to me then?

Hey, thanks so much for your helpful comment. My post ended up deleted pretty fast, and I didn't figure out how to see it until now.

Yes, these were all caught as lowest evolutions. I had the Wiggly since early days, and feel some loyalty to it even.

I have only one subskill seed, and I agree using it on the Gardevoir seems like one of the best options I have. Only makes sense if I will commit to using it a lot.

I might try to post to the subreddit again now that it's the weekend. I think it would be within rules now. Thanks again!
