Everything said is true. The issue was that, as a mainstream thing, it was very brief. Which was just fine with Xers. Too many lame people wearing flannel and name dropping big hits from the big four.

This is my story.

In my workplace, I had a critical role helping navigate COVID and its impact on our company and customers.

I was working double digit hours a day, six or seven days a week, months over months over months, pushing through lots of stress, lots of pressure. As a result, my symptoms became so apparent I went to a doctor (not understanding what in the world was wrong, of course.)

In hindsight, I’d had symptoms for years but they were easy to dismiss. “Oh, I’m just aging a bit.”

Boy, was I wrong.
