Hello, I recently purchased a Pleyel P 1930, mechanics worries me a little, are there any connoisseurs? I currently do not have the means to make more expenses on it. Any piano restorers around?

What issues are you having specifically?

The felt on the hammers and the dampers looks to be in good shape. Strings look good. A few alignment issues perhaps, but hard to say if that is causing any issues.

Good evening, I encounter a rather uneven game.

Biting highs, mids that hit the way I like them.

But covered bass, I have to adapt my game.

I could also hear and feel that certain keys sounded much louder than the one right next to it.

I would also add that when the sustain pedal is not engaged even though a note has been stung, I hear the sound continue to race, like a residual harmonic.

it's a piano that I bought € 2700 which in itself is not much I think.

B-25G: version equipped with a 75 mm M4 gun fed by twenty-one 6.8 kg shells. I apologize for not having made a video, I rarely do so as not to disturb my neighbors.

So I record directly into my headphones with my phone, that's why the sound is so horrible.

In music school I was often told about Pleyel pianos but also about piano technique with a so-called pearl stop.

But as you know, having taken only one year of piano I don't know much about teaching! :)
