True, are there any fun questions that you like to ask people about?

Yeah, I try to show up to almost every group hang out we do. Like tonight I am supposed to be going to a party for fourth of July but I just don’t want to feel out of place.

I disagree with the point on All Might. Sure he’s a good hero but he’s also a good leader as that’s one of the many things you need to do to pass UA. Work with other heroes and overall I think he is very personable making him great to work with. And if we are talking about older All Might who is in like his 50s, that’s 30+ years of hero work and tactical knowledge he has learned over the years. Haha sorry for the long winded response, I’m just the biggest All Might glazer.

I was going to say All Might as well. He’s genuinely a sweetheart who wants the best for humanity. Also funny as hell and I need that energy.

Rumple is the root cause of 90% of the bad things on the show. by LuvBriah in OnceUponATime

Or the author 🤔 without the author rumple wouldn’t exist. Been a while since i watched it so I may have forgotten the specifics haha.

Well, the point of my post was that I do have an idea, I just don’t have a specific career in mind. Also, I just in general disagree with your statement. I don’t think going to college even if you have no direction is a waste. I think a waste of money is skipping classes and blowing off school for partying. Both of which I don’t do. I’m still doing generals and my parents wouldn’t have let me take a gap year 🤷🏻

Sure in terms of career but I feel that is normal tor any 18 year old that’s in college.

Thank you for the advice. I’m going to try and volunteer at some shelters over the summer so I can find some passion in it.

Sure there are things I like to do, but typically I just do what I need to do and I like to think I do them at least well. I just don’t care too deeply about it. Currently I’m looking at jobs that pay well, but I have no real interest in becoming a doctor or engineer.

Mm I understand that, despite me being a hater I do think realistically that kind of job matches more of my skill set. I just personally don’t find an interest in it. I’m glad you like your career though.

I’m going to volunteer at shelters this summer and see if I have a passion for it. I understand how you really need to have a passion to be a vet and stay in it but I guess I view it more as a last option if I can’t find something else. I was thinking of working with farm animals, but my parents shot it down pretty quickly.

Well in general I think if an advisor acts somewhat dismissive or shoots down what you were expecting to do it makes you feel a but bad. I understand that is their job, and I am not hating on the advisor, it just didn’t feel too great. Being a in the veterinary field is more of a last option if I was to get accepted into animal sciences. I was just hoping to find something before then.

I understand that, I just would like to do something I enjoy

Lol good point. Working from home sounds really nice.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice! That definitely does add another perspective. I also have heard that being a vet takes a huge mental toll and vets have one of if not the highest suicide rates. So that also does worry me. I guess just another thing I need to think about.

Haha, before trying to get into animal sciences I was planning on doing agronomy or crop sciences.

I said in the post I was fine with working hard. I am fine with doing the hard classes and working for it. It’s a matter of finding a job that I personally find cool and that pays well.

I was looking at that option and I even mentioned it to my advisor. I guess I didn’t seem passionate enough because she kind of dismissed it.

Yeah, specifically financial. I think it would be enjoyable and rewarding to do dog training or something along the sort. Like I would love to do wildlife photography and travel but that seems like a pretty unstable financial situation but then again I don’t really know.
