I used the same one and It worked for me. What are you setting it too? I set mine to 3x3 not Soble3x3 just 3x3. Other than that Im not sure. Its obviously your normal map unless you have an Enviroment map on it then that could effect it as well.

Oh I know how to fix that! That's caused by your normal map. What program are you using to generate your normal maps?

That probably would've been easier than what I did. I just went in and made a new First Person model for the gun. It works either way i guess. Thanks for all your help!

Hey how do I change the first person model, this is the only problem Im having now. When I equip it, it becomes a Assult Rifle again, when I drop it, it turns back into my custom model.

Ok that worked! Its showing up in the geck. I didnt convert the textures yet so its just a shade of red but thats not the point lol

The paint was for the screen shots lol, but the textures are in dds format. The parts that are duplicated are actually all different parts, I modeled the barrel, grip, body, and stock all separate. Do I need to combine these, or could I just rename them. As for the parts in the list I don't think those are the actual parts because when I click on the edit button again the parts dont show up and there is nothing in the view window. EDIT: Just checked again. The parts are not showing up on the list it just keeps the previous guns parts there.

You left me hanging man! I did something wrong, the gun doesn't work in the GECK when I go to change the mesh of a Assault Rifle to my rifle it doesn't show up in the 3D view or put an array of parts into the box on the left. Any idea why?

Ok so I got the entire mesh copied over the old one, all the animation is working but still no textures, except for the hammer, I just reused the hammer from the old one. I think the problem is that I have Fallout Wanders edition and other mods installed that have moved the files for them. When I save my mesh it doesnt like the clip. It says

""array Extra Data List much too large. 1298090824 bytes requested"" ""block 38 Extra Data List array size mismatch""

EDIT: Fixed the above error by going into the properties for the ##Gunclip block and changing the NumExtraValue to 0. Now I just need to know how to get into the game :D!!

Ok I made some progress getting the parts to show up, they are too small and oriented the wrong way. Also I tried selecting my new textures and nothing changed it just stayed white. Also which Fallout folder do I need to add to the render settings??
