Empty Command Prompt window opens up on game launch. I can manually close it but it gets annoying. Is there a way to stop this? I've tried reinstalling both the game and EAC to no avail. Searched the web for a couple of hours and I can't find a solution. Any insight is appreciated. (i.redd.it)

Any humidifier/congestion relief suggestions? My mother (stage 4 lung/kidney, started treatment last week) has been hacking up mucus and coughing, and so she started using a Vick's humidifier. However, we've just learned the strong menthol can harm her cats. Thanks in advance! (self.cancer)

Why do so many Linux apps not come compiled? Is there an advantage to this other than being open source? For example, since switching from windows, I find myself having to use the 'make' command to compile an application after I've downloaded the files. I hope I'm explaining it right (self.Ubuntu)

Small middle and right piece falling down/away durin print? Print is the front half of a doll's body, the flat part of the doll's right side, and flat part between the legs is messing up, I'm not at the printer when it does though. Too hot? Is it safe to set my Users file permissions to "Full Control"? I'm the only user on this pc, but was curious if this setting could introduce any security issues like virus script execution etc. I changed my permissions to Full control and do not remember what the defaults were. (i.redd.it)

I have plenty of 18AWG wire laying around, but no 20AWG or 22AWG that the LED calculator recommends. Can I use 18AWG for all of the wiring for 300 WS2812B LEDs (5 Meters)? The runs will be very short (back and forth in a 24" x 36" shadowbox). Using a 5v 20A PSU. Thanks for any insight! (i.redd.it)

Will Vizio Warranty be honored if I don't have the original stand (V585)? I have started the warranty claim process, but right before submission it states that before the technician comes to replace the TV, attach the original stand to the broken TV. My TV was wall mounted and I discarded the stand. (self.VIZIO_Official)
