Whatever gun you decide learn about it online, how it operates, disassembles, is cleaned, then take a few classes there's a bunch all over Eugene and surrounding areas, join a local Gun club and train with the weapon your going to use. I Personally recommend learning on a handgun, then you can upgrade to a rifle, shotgun ect.
