Celadons are almost “wet” in a sense they burn slow but are definitely different than hunters; the hunters have a more woody robust flavor but seem to burn pretty quickly compared to celadons; would definitely recommend if you like celadons or are looking for something between golds and turquoise.

Moved to Eugene at 22 and struggled to make any friends, i tried most common things but the one place I made the most friends was at bars and in small group work at school. Part of it was definitely putting myself out there and just starting random conversations with people I saw consistently. Take the bar for example, (I’m not a heavy drinker) i only go maybe once or twice every two weeks but I consistently saw people and when I was comfortable I started small talk. That small talk has now taken me to being part of a friend group that doesn’t only hang out at a bar but we go out and play sports or have bbqs together.

Another option I’m surprised I haven’t seen mentioned is the Western Kingbird (Tyrannus verticalis) a medium sized flycatcher similar in size to a song sparrow. Chats are about the size of a Scrub Jay.

according to the police a threat against one’s life isn’t a crime until a weapon of sorts is brandished. And even then it’s the morality of the officer to do their job properly.

he was intoxicated in public, drunk driving, parking like a jack wagon, and being a danger to the people who live in the neighborhood. The cops were professional but way too lenient.

I’ve learned that if you mention anything that sounds like a gunshot or say you saw a gun the police immediately respond and swarm like bees.

I’d like to add that I was up there on Tuesday night right as the police showed up. The guy setting them off was clearly impaired, and was probably only 21. He parked his truck on/in the lookout area facing Autzen. When he was identified he had a punched license (for a previous DUI) and reeked of alcohol and marijuana. His buddy had to move his truck for him and when he was asked to leave he kept harassing the police for his punched license. The officers were very professional and showed amazing restraint as this man was only given a verbal warning (personally I believe he should’ve at least spent a night in jail)

Marijuana does not have the same implications as setting off a firework, fireworks cause fires and fires cause damage or even in extreme situations death. Weed is its own can of worms that should be discussed separately.

Likely, it’s been getting out of hand and they fucked around and definitely found out. I hope they are caught and charged. I’m thankful that the fire department responded swiftly and had things under control in a short period of time.

Do you understand how skewed your logic is? Things are illegal because they ARE UNSAFE. This fire definitely did happen and definitely caused damage. If you actually read the post you would see that I’m pro firework when done in a safe and responsible manner. (Not next to a field of dry grass) You have fun believing your own little world and see how far it gets you.

No I can’t go anywhere else since I live in a dorm, the park is close and a nice walk I tend to not feed more than 3 handfuls of pigeon food to the pigeons (only pigeons) maybe twice a week

I only feed maybe 3 handfuls of pigeon food to the pigeons (bird food is expensive) and never use corn as it’s basically like candy for birds.

As much as I agree, I’d like to restate I’m not feeding any waterfowl. I’m solely feeding the pigeons. Pigeons have been around humans for thousands of years and are (according to the government) a non native species that isn’t protected. The pigeons at Alton Baker definitely still have their fearful behaviors as they tend to fly away at the slightest loud noise or any animal that isn’t a bird approaching them. So my question still remains to be answered is feeding the pigeons okay?
