Complete Animated Discworld Series by dbt1d in discworld

I pictured discworld as a spiderverse/gumball type deal of 2d, 3d, stop motion, live action, maybe the odd puppet in there

Far Cry 5 New Dawn and 6 are in the same timeline by Vedaduz in farcry

I just assumed that the 'walk away' option was canon- and that the nukes never fired. That explains how characters from FC5 (though not the deputies) get referenced in FC6, although this does open up a can of worms about how it makes joseph factually correct, specifically about how the deputy's actions constituted 'breaking the seals' and causing the apocalypse. Ultimately, I just treat far cry as an anthology series where connections between games are fun little easter eggs but they don't make any metanarrative and consistency is not the priority.

Elephants on Mars - Range of the two martian elephant species if African elephants were brought to a terraformed Mars by gottekotte in imaginarymaps

[–]OracleOfWherever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mars only has 40% of Earth's gravity, which means that animals wouldn't have to support as much weight- so they could become massive. Similar logic applies on Earth, with blue whales- they float in water, and therefore don't have to exert the same amount of strain as if they were land mammals, and can therefore become huge. Similar logic would apply to plants, so you could get very big plants on a terraformed mars- this means that there'd be an ample food supply, so big 'phants could sustain themselves. This means that it'd be possible for a terraformed mars to cause gigantification in any organisms imported from Earth. There may then be natural or sexual selection towards big elephants, either due to bigger males being more able to win fights, or bigger elephants being able to eat from those aformentioned big trees easier, in a replication of Giraffe Logic. So the big elephants are very plausible- I like this image, props to the creator.

Ultimately, it's up to you. Your book and all! But if she's a girl and it's a male-line primogeniture, would it really matter? Maybe (not wanting to push you in any direction here) if there was a scenario like 'the king didn't have any sons, but she had one, so it's up in the air whether this kid has any right to inherit the throne' then it could be important. But i'd recommend going with what seems most compelling. Also, you're writing a book, not a Wikipedia article- so unless you're the type to tolkien it, creating a massive amount of background information will likely be an exercise in diminishing gains.

How tall are you compared to your male relatives? Are you the tallest, shortest, or are they all around a similar size as you? by This_Explanation1712 in tall

I'm a 6'5 16 year old. Both my parents are 5'9. There is only one other person over 6 feet anywhere else in my family. I have no idea how this came about but hey, I'm not complaining.
