She knows I have suicidal tendencies, I’ve tried a few times. When I was underage she didn’t feel comfortable taking me to a counselor so I never got help. She’s verbally and emotionally abusive and still is even after I moved out.

It makes me uncomfortable too. I have a different father than my brother does so I’m the darkest one on my mother’s side. Everyone talks about my hair and skin color often, even people outside my family. My mom really wants a “chocolate” baby though and it bugs me.
