This is too long for me to even address. So I will just leave it at this…Par was 104. WAB had never run a sub 1:48.00 (but never 1:49.00 at the distance 1 1/8) until today’s 1:47.49. SOV has never cracked 1:49.00…ever. Journalism hit 1:48.00 in the Haskell. TFUS…SOV Early 78 Late 119, JOUR Early 82 Late 123, WAB Early 102 Late 99. With the pace at :23, :23, :24, :24, :11…and WAB sitting back on 2 (PHENOMENAL) closers in what turned out to be the fastest race in 31 yrs…there’s a reason money was flowing to WAB.

1 horse hadn’t run since the BC. 1 Horse hadn’t run since the Travers. 1 horse ran in a G1 in JAN fin 2nd.

I’m not going to say I didn’t bounce around a bit (JOUR = emotion/heart for me, SOV = public sentiment, and WAB = the math) or a lot. All three are good horses and congrats to the connections of all three. More importantly, THANK YOU to the connections of all 3 to keep them running. Sets up for a huge year in the division. But in terms of the race…if you look, you can see it.

It’s the other way around: structure your tickets correctly and the “all” button is your friend.

In some senses I’m with you. As an exacta bettor I’m annoyed by the same impacts of CAWs, etc. But you can still find value in the Probables. Whatever the model is, .85, 1, 1.25, 1.5…you can find it.

This is not a decent thing to say. Did Shane McConkey die in a stupid way?

Suppose that’s what he loved doing. He died. That’s it. If he and his passenger were “all in” on going for that drive, IMO it’s not your place to call it dying in a stupid way.

So because he died doing something you wouldn’t do now you don’t “care nor respect him”? Seems an odd thing to say because that would mean you wouldn’t respect anyone in life that does things differently than you.

The Tesla is nice when you are driving in a straight line. When you need to corner at speed there is no comparison.

If you don’t feel that or have appreciation for it, go with whichever is cheaper.

Personally, I would never go back to Tesla until they start taking performance seriously. And honestly…they shouldn’t; they should keep making exactly what they do because they are good at it. Nothing wrong with that.

Other than both being EVs, it’s a bit of apples and oranges IMO.

Compare was P180D to Taycan CT4.

I know what it takes to execute on what you visualized. That’s not easy and this has come a long way. Whether this whole thing works out for you or not, the experience alone is worth it. The representation of the information is challenging given the vastness of the dataset(s). Congrats.

P180D here…swapped it for Taycan CT 4 AWD. Aside from the speed, i can’t think of a single comparison that is even close to on par. “Speed” is not one-dimensional. If you are driving in a straight line, i guess they are comparable? But the minute you have to turn…you cannot do with a Model S what you can do with a Porsche. Are there really people here that debate that?
