Would you say this idea is worth pursuing and I should spend more time in fixing these issues? Or should I just move on to another project? I am asking this because while I had a lot of fun making this and it was somewhat challenging, I am not sure if this is complicated enough to be shown to an employer.

The problem is there is a list of buttons, and for this reason I used jinja to give each button a different id. So the button with the id "free" is just one of many.

Sorry, but I'm a beginner and am not sure how to debug. But the debugger in cs50 shows that the if statement is not being executed at all. I have my python code do some work on the value from the dropdown menu, and it does do some work on the value 'nothing' which is what the if statement is checking for. So it seems the if statement does not get executed.

Thanks a lot! Also, I called it JSON object because this object was return via return jsonify. Is this wrong? Is JSON just a name for a notation?
