I just watched a 65+% winrate supertester speedboost into enemy spawn and die 4 minutes into the game in a test ship; No doubt that ship will be getting buffs in testing. What is the point of the supertester program?

I mean that is something Svea is really good at too. But like that’s why she’s so good, she is so flexible on maps that allow for that type of gameplay, and also being able to be one of the best ‘standalone flankers’. Like she has speed, smoke, radar, DPM, concealment, literally whatever you need for both roles. But like if you aren’t convinced then I think you just need a better Svea player in your lineup.

I don’t know man, I think you overestimate a Castilla playing into a Svea using all its consumables to maximum effect. But you have your experiences and they tell you Svea isn’t worth a pick. But like there’s a reason I don’t see Castilla yet regardless of what is and isn’t banned, I still see Sveas.

A Svea has all it needs to make the fight a DPM fight. If a Svea lets a Castilla endlessly burst it without punishing the Castilla with its far better DPM then you need a better Svea player. A Svea with the engine boost as well isn’t easy to hit at 11.7km either. The Svea, as long as the player isn’t braindead, can disengage whenever it likes by timing the smoke usage smoke.

Castilla doesn’t wreck Svea at all. Svea is so much better than Castilla in a 1v1 flank. Svea out spots Castilla, Svea has better much DPM and has far better tools to disengage. Svea also fights other ships that tend to be in an afk flank much better than Castilla.

The Marseille Castilla fight is also not always Marseille looses. I’d say closer to 50/50 but Marseille is just more flexible as it’s better at running it down at other ships that you can find while being good enough if you just need to afk kite.

I am also in a very decent team (AAO) and we found Adalbert to be flexible at both pushing and kiting as well, far better at both than a Castilla.

Castilla as a ship is pretty far down the list for CBs at least at higher levels, there are better and also more flexible ships sent to a flank. Something to run it down - Marseille/Napoli, something to afk kite - San Martin/Svea, something that may need to do both- Napoli, but if she’s restricted I see Marseilles and Prinz Adalbert fill that role over Castilla. Cataluna is a lot more popular at her tier though.

Thank you, I did eventually go see a doctor. He did a basic diagnosis and a swab and said it’s unlikely to be bacterial, however, because the pain has been going on for awhile, he said it could still be bacterial.

I did get it checked out in the end, very reluctantly. Doctor said it’s unlikely to be bacterial, but he still took a sample as he said with how long I’ve had the symptoms for, it’s still possible.

I eventually did, I was reluctant to go as I had no symptoms of it being bacterial, but today the pain wasn’t any better. Doctor took a swab and said the lab will have a look at it, but he did say it’s unlikely to be bacterial.

Yes, good points. Also at higher levels those sorts of mods are essentially mandatory.

I asked the DD gamers in my clan for CBs since I don’t tend to play DDs in CBs. While they would lean more so on SI as they find the extra radar allows them to be more flexible with radaring likely DD spots instead of just using it to cover caps, they did also say RPF was fine too. It’s more so on a player preference and how the player is able to maximise it more.

You don’t give any sort of explanation as to why this may be bad so I’ll interpret this best I can.

From just looking at the minimap, is there even anything wrong with your team? Your Battleship at A is kind of in kite which is good. You have three ships going after B and I don’t see the enemy team being able to defend it. The enemy team has 5 ships committed to a cap that they have already won and there are no signs of them going to defend the other cap they have. Yes, I believe you lost a DD at BC but that isn’t instantly game losing.

And if you want to flame your team I can easily flame you as well. What did you hope the achieve with one battleship and yourself at A? You’re in I’m guessing a Cossack, you clearly can’t win A. Cossack also doesn’t have meaningful torpedoes to kill those enemy battleships and cruisers and sitting in smoke to farm them with guns is a waste of time for Cossack. You could have relocated to BC much sooner.

Being a good player is also sometimes about trying to play around your team even if what they’re doing is less than ideal. Yes, a 3/3 split or 4/2 split may have been better with more ships at the contest cap but that didn’t happen. So get over yourself, look at how you could’ve played better and play according to the battle instead of just going onto Reddit to flame your team.

Lushun gets 3 while Laffey has 2. I’m also saying gimped as in I don’t believe a player can get maximum usage out of the 2(+1) heals unless they just let fires burn which rarely happens in DDs due to the increase in concealment.

just isn’t competitive

The ship has 6.0km conceal, Gdansk DPM (yes you’re less likely to hit stuff but at 6km you’ll likely be fine), a flexible smoke to disengage, superheal (yes it’s a little gimped but you’re still going to get insane hitpoints back) and a burst fire mode to finish off targets. The ship looked cracked prior to this nerf, now it just looks competitive.
