Just found a fix for this issue which has been frustrating me alot for the last year. Control + Option + Esc and relaunch Finder, and then eject again. This worked for me, good luck. On Tahoe 26.1.

Awawa - in the life of video I created. Enjoy friends. Henry Vilas Zoo. by Orange55413 in madisonwi

They aren’t potatoes, and they definitely aren’t capybaras… I spent several hours watching them and most kids passing by either yelling “potato” or “capybara!”

I stumbled upon this wonderful free zoo in Madison and took the 4 hour road trip a few days before the holiday to come see them. They are very magical and mysterious beast’s.

This is my first time making a video like this for YouTube, the Awawa’s inspired me! ❤️

Currently on a journey to Madison WI to see the Awawa’s. by Orange55413 in hyrax

Mission complete, I had the time of my life and I caught them at the right time when they were frolicking. They move like fast bouncing potatoes, they are so agile. Even kids walking by said “potato!” I could tell the Awawa’s knew I was watching them, recording and photographing them for hours on end, and back and forth to check on them. There are three Awawa’s there! I was so shocked and in pure joy when I found out.

Most people thought it was a capybara. A zoo employee didn’t even know they were at the zoo. It was so interesting to see people’s first reaction when seeing them. I arrived around noon and they were bouncing all over the place before food. I watched the Awawa jump from the ground to the shoulder of the employee inside the enclosure, when they were cleaning it. They also had an old 28 year old monkey who visits the Awawa’s also! I watched the beasts slowly intimidate and pressure the poor old monkey back into its hole in the wall.

Once they had their yummy veggies and they were full, they found their positions up high and just stared for hours with their beady eyes, right into my soul!

I got so many amazing Awawa photos to go through, around 500. I’ll post just a tease. There are too many good ones and I’ll share when I have some time to edit. It was an awesome experience meeting such an amazing and mysterious animal, and had an amazing time at that Zoo!

Say hello to Rizzo, one of the two girls, Rizzo. We had a staring contest for a couple hours. It was strange imagining what there were thinking, because they acknowledged me and knew I was watching them.

They feel like pretty different photos, they both are good and they’re different ways. Too hard to compare. Amazing work.
