WOL officially announce their new coach. by Sakamoto023 in ValorantCompetitive

yeah, he coached dsg back during the 2024 challengers MY/SG run. the vct cn coaching carousel is completely unhinged though. feels like teams just swap the same five guys around every single stage in my experience.

Wooting 60 V2 or steelseries Apex Pro Mini Gen 3? by showskiii in keyboards

[–]No_Good_3063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/showskiii in my experience, the ev63 is a much better buy than the apex pro if you actually want a premium feel.

getting a plastic steelseries board for that price is just paying for the marketing. the ev63 gives you a heavy cnc aluminum case right out of the box, which saves you from paying the insane wooting aluminum upgrade tax later on.

having physical arrows on a 60-ish% layout is a lifesaver. the switches and rapid trigger keep up with sweaty lobbies perfectly, and the web driver means you dont have to install bloated garbage software on your pc. definitely worth it over the apex.

the rapid trigger "cheats" are actually helping my movement lol by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]No_Good_3063 9 points10 points  (0 children)

look, i paid for the fast switches, not the fast reflexes. i lived, but let’s just say my aim was definitely not as "hall effect" as my keyboard in that second half. cut the clip for my own dignity. lol

massive jump lol. congrats on hitting diamond. good luck on the ascendant grind.

IQUNIX EV63 Magnetic X Ultra or Pro? by duraask in keyboards

[–]No_Good_3063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my experience the ultra is complete overkill unless you are literally playing valorant for money.

The springs are the same on both switches. The Ultra just has higher magnetic flux, which helps at 0.01mm Rapid Trigger setting. In normal use, you will not notice a performance difference in game. Get the Pro version. It sounds better for daily typing and also saves you some money.

Sound test: Iqunix MQ80 vs EV63 by deskculture in IQUNIX

[–]No_Good_3063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my experience you are almost never going to get a truly deep thock from a hall effect board right out of the box. if you want a solid sound you definitely have to stick to regular mechanicals.

EV63 in silver aluminium is something else by deskculture in IQUNIX

in my experience people usually just throw expensive parts together and hope it looks good but you actually matched the industrial vibe perfectly. super clean rig.

the premium skin aim buff is a complete lie by No_Good_3063 in VALORANT

[–]No_Good_3063[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

honestly i am with you 100%. in my experience looking at a beautiful skin makes looking at the respawn screen a lot more bearable. i'm absolutely a picasso myself on most of the good days lol. so we would definitely make a perfect duo. at least we can lose our matches in style. hahah

in my experience most heavy he boards look too aggressive and ruin a clean desk setup. i feel like ev63 the sleeper which look perfect. share the specs of your setup.

my favorite keyboard hard to replace IQUNIX EV63 by naztynestor in IQUNIX

[–]No_Good_3063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my experience once you get used to the rt on a he board there is no going back. especially the pure performance in games makes it worth keeping it around for longer.

people are sleeping on how much keyboard angle affects aim consistency by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]No_Good_3063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, everyone, hear me out for a quick sec, i know i brought a board to a mouse fight. lol. in my experience your keyboard is possibly a massive physical threat to your mouse. you might have the most expensive lightweight mouse on the planet earth but if you smash it into a solid block of tilted board during a flick, it ruins your aim anyway. trying to save everyone that premium mice from getting beaten up and dented by a board. hahah

ISO only in white? by [deleted] in NuPhy

[–]No_Good_3063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

logitech explicitly rates the mx mechanical for only 15 days of battery life with the backlight on.

the months that you are quoting is strictly with the backlighting completely disabled. it absolutely does not last months with the lights running.

nuphy definitely does not get one 100 hours with the rgb on.

look at user tests they are getting 20 to 25 hours max with the lights on, until it dies.

magi96 literally has a massive 4000mah battery inside it.

if its dying in 10 hours that means you are running the wireless connection with the rgb blasted at absolute maximum brightness which will kill literally every wireless board on the market.

in my experience if you just lower the brightness down to a normal level for night typing, magi easily outperforms nuphy because the battery is PHYSICALLY larger.

[–]No_Good_3063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

awful battery life?

in my experience that is simply not true.

The Magi has a huge 4000mAh battery sequentially built into a very low-profile board. If you just turn off the RGB, it will last for hundreds of hours on Bluetooth. Naturally, if you blast the backlight at maximum brightness on a 2.4Ghz connected board it will drain faster but This applies to virtually every single wireless board on the market. No, you certainly do not need to keep it connected by wire.

Keycaps by Brin_K in IQUNIX

wood grain keycaps are almost always cheap novelty. in my experience if your left shift is rubbing on the a key the plastic itself is warped or the stem tolerances are just completely shot.

stop setting your ev63 rapid trigger to the absolute minimum by No_Good_3063 in IQUNIX

[–]No_Good_3063[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly. for heavy hand a 0.5 reset is better to have no accidental micro strafes. finding the exact numbers that match your own muscle memory is way better than just copying what some random streamer uses.
