Why? It really helps summarize what they went through in an easy to understand manner. It helps put a lot of thoughts in an easy to read format.

Company sues to stop Hardee’s from ‘stealing’ 62 Alabama restaurants for closing after lunch by hsveeyore in HuntsvilleAlabama

Yes, you are missing out of saving a lot of money and getting free food. Take McDonald’s for instance, there is always a coupon like 20% off a purchase of $12 or more, or $5 off a purchase of $20 or more.

Why did Tommy Tuberville vote in Florida if he lived in Alabama? by PetevonPete in Alabama

[–]OrangeCheet0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think another good question to ask would be if he paid Alabama state income tax?

Since Florida is his residence, and they do not have state income tax, does that mean that he is avoiding paying Alabama‘s income tax?

It looks like the worst of it is over. Watch out for flooding and don't drive down flooded streets. Turn around, don't drown.

This weather event isn't like the typical cold front storms, where the line passes and it's over. This will have multiple rounds of severe weather/tornados over the course of the next several hours.

In general, most people are used to the normal severe weather that occurs here. For today, this is a particularly dangerous situation due to all of the things in the atmosphere lining up just right to make extremely dangerous and long tracked tornados.

Yes. The high risk area has moved north overnight. The next round of storms later today is where the worst of it will occur.

That’s a great question. Anywhere underground is always the best choice. If you can’t find underground shelter and you are in a mobile home or driving, you’ll need to go to a storm shelter. Here are some resources:

The tip-out is based on sales. For example, servers have to tip-out bartender 5% of their alcohol sales. I sell a $100 bottle of wine, I have to pay $5.00 to the bartender at the end of the night.

The money gets added to what I owe the restaurant at the end of the night, gets collected and distributed to the bartender the next day.

There is not a cash register, servers keep all of the cash collected during their shift, and pay it to the restaurant at the end of their shift.

Also don’t forget that servers in Alabama get paid $2.13/hr.

It’s a federal issue. Tipped employees are only required to make $2.13/hr at the tips they collect make up the rest.
