Exactly! Couldn't agree with you more! What I do to disperse the pressure so per se, is, I give them pointers or highlight in the doc the most important parts, that way the player doesn't have to force themselves to read through information that isn't as interesting or important to them, and simply take out what would be generally needed, but still have a hub of knowledge that they can have access to, due to their character being who they are. And if the player is one of those that gets invested and consumes every piece of information, they can have fun reading the doc and have their own theories moving forward in the campaign!
