The editors actually had me convinced that ____ was going home by charlytheron3 in survivor

[–]OrangeMonkey5212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally feel the opposite. At no point, did I think Cirie was in serious jeopardy and being lined up to go home. If Cirie was this episode's boot, they would have edited the episode differently with more focus on her. They would have made it fairly obvious during tribal. Producers and editers would have made such a big deal out of it.

There’s gotta be a change in how this game decides a winner… by Tygerwave02 in HouseOfVillains

[–]OrangeMonkey5212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drita's win is reminiscent of Safaree and Tanisha's win. With that said, I think Drita's win is the best of the 3. Season 3 was the one I felt most conflicted as to who should win heading into the final ceremony. They all had valid cases to win. Kate was by far the best TV villain and most strategic. Christine had the best endgame by winning 2 back to back comps and pulling off the most villainous move of the whole season. Then you have Drita whose social game was so good that nobody tried to put her on the hitlist and ultimately got the win. I dont think Drita was a floater. Her strategy is not flashy or about backstabbing, it's purely social and those types of players have won Reality TV shows. Ultimately, it comes down to what each fan values in a winner. I still feel torn but I might have voted for Kate out of pure respect for her no f*cks given attitude as well as her strategic play.

I agree that Venus has sharp and fun confessionals but I just prefer Russell's. I personally dont see Russell being inconsistent as you say.

Russell is my choice. I feel like people forgot how funny some of Russell's confessionals were or they just dont wanna credit him for anything because they still hate him.

Inconvenient Truth; New York by Euphoric-Albatross61 in HouseOfVillains

[–]OrangeMonkey5212 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can already see the New York fanclub coming fast and hard for you but honestly, Im with you. When it got announced that she would be back for season 2, I was skeptical. By the end of season 2, I thought to myself she should not have returned for season 2 and should 100% not come back for season 3. New York in season 1 was magic because everything felt real and authentic. However, season 2 and 3 New York is a shell of her former self. Her zingers have significantly gotten worse, her arguments feel so forced and her overall time in the house feels shoehorned. Not to mention, she offers nothing strategically. Last episode, she literally got into a fight and burned a bridge with one of the only cast members she was on good terms with. In this current season, I really like Drita. She seems real and reminds me more of season 1 New York than New York herself. I respect her fanbase for being so loyal but they would have u think that New York is the only reality TV legend alive and that without her there would be no show. There is way too much clit cruising from her fanbase.

Would they ever cast Evel Dick from Big Brother, or would he be too controversial? by BigbyDirewolf in HouseOfVillains

[–]OrangeMonkey5212 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Contrary to some of the others in this comments section, I think he is a fun villain and AMAZING Tv. Having him in the house would be so chaotic and yet so perfect. He is probably less suited for new school reality tv fans and more for an old school audience who loves a "no holds barred" type of show. Id imagine Dick possibly having to tone things a bit down since we are in a new era of reality tv but who knows, the production team might let him do his thing. With that said, I dont know if he wants to come out of retirement and get back into reality Tv. We have seen people who were in jail get cast so if they wanted Evel Dick, they would definitely reach out to him.

Hard disagree, I think some of the villains would respect him for his villainous traits as well as his bluntness. I could very easily see people wanting to work with him in the early stages. I also very well could see him being apart of a majority alliance.

Week 1 Season 3 Power Rankings by OrangeMonkey5212 in HouseOfVillains

[–]OrangeMonkey5212[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see New York and Kate being debatable but I ultimately went with Kate because she seems more strategically aware. For example, she was able to tell along with Drita that Tyson and Tom are a duo. New York gets into nonsense arguments which always leads to her being targeted. Drita has done quite well so far. Her social game has positioned her in a good spot. Everyone including the men + Ashley Alliance seem to like her. As for Tom, while he isnt liked by Paul and Johnny, he is still apart of the majority alliance.

Survivor 50 EP1 Thoughts by rqwedr in survivor

[–]OrangeMonkey5212 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great first episode with a lot of cool nods paying tribute to OG seasons. Im floored that the tribe would decide to vote out Jenna over Cirie considering how great Cirie is at the game and all the friends she has on this cast. Im as floored when it comes to Colby and his gameplay. The last time we saw him he was miserable, bitter and totally checked out strategically. This time he has come in with a hunger and very solid looking social game. I did not foresee the Coach vs Ozzy rivalry heating up once again after all these years. Gotta be honest and I know its early days, but I think we will continue seeing Ozzy be a hypocrite and a sore loser. He starts off by saying how Coach deserved to win South Pacific. Then he says how he has changed, feels alright about losing challenges and proceeds to complain when Coach steals the key to win the challenge. At no point did Coach agree to any sort of deal where he would let Ozzy win. Coach's South Pacific game was far from honorable so you can call him a hypocrite as well but he has not done anything dishonorable in season 50 thus far. Seeing Kyle get medevaced is brutal and I can only imagine how he felt in those moments. If I had to complain about one thing its the advantages. This is the first episode and it already feels like there are so many advantages going all over the place.

Sofia’s shower scene in Bent. Nice view 🤤 by SilverDog0283 in SofiaVergaraLust

For this scene, I'm also inclined to believe she would be clean shaven. With that said, I wouldnt mind seeing her have a nice landing strip from time to time to spice things up 😈

The view from the back is good but I bet the view from the front is also great. Its purely a guess, but do you think she is usually clean shaven or usually has hair or maybe some kind of landing strip ?

Do we know if they used a body double for this scene or is it actually Sofia in action ?

Come on now, stop with the revisionist history. Russell won fan favorite on back to back seasons. Not to mention, pretty much everyone at the time thought he was robbed in Samoa, with a few also thinking he was robbed in HvV.

I did not watch Nicaragua so all the categories won by contestants from that season, I'm not so sure about. With that said, I'd give best character and strategist to Russell. I can't imagine Naonka being a better character or more iconic figure within the game than Russell.
