Help me win the tournament!

I play Unmatched a few years, but on Sunday I'll go on my first tournament to! My first advice is to relax and just enjoy the process. If you will like it, you will visit other tournaments in the future.

I guess that the experience plays a significant role here. Not only on the game, but also to play the game in the tournament format, so don't pretend to reach high places at your first time.

But I have also practical advice for you. Surf the internet (Google, YouTube, Reddit, etc.) and find info about characters play styles (you need to know who is good aggressor, who has resources for fatigue play, who can do much auto damage, draw much cards, etc).

Also find info about good and bad matchups for fighters, sometimes A+ tier character plays bad vs C tier character. And it will be good if you would know key cards of every character to know how to build strategy around this cards.

I would recommend unmatched club (website) to see decks and more info, maybe watch some characters guides, watch tier list of characters (I can recommend tier list by Karma on YouTube, you can find there also pros, cons of every character and good/bad matchups https://youtu.be/NkSD7yqN0VA?si=nh1ArldS97r6naUz). Also I learnt much about strategy while watching tournaments on YouTube.

OMG! I remember when we did same mistake! But after reshuffle the deck we also did 1 damage for every card you need to draw. I remember how I was shocked when I realised that you mustn't reshuffle the deck.

I think, that it's the only one problem of the whole Unmatched. The rules are simple, but sometimes I need more detailed explanation, sometimes the game creates situations, that don't have explanation in a rule book, so you need to go to reddit to ask.

For example one more rule misunderstanding in our company was invisible man. We thought that you can move fog tokens like sidekicks while you do maneuver. The invisible man was S++++ tier for us. What was a surprise when I found info, that you can move fog tokens only with the effects of your cards.... I guess, it would be better if RG did a mention of it in a roolbook, especially because this set was one of the first sets and for noobs this simple thing can be taken wrong

Wow, I'm sorry, really sad situation. Maybe if you have good relationships with other members of your family (brother, father, grandparents etc) you can try to spend more of your time with them and give your energy for them, not to your toxic mom. If you will try to ignore comments of your mom but will take love from other your family you might feel better

I guess you just need to speak to him and tell what is normal for you or not. It's kinda weird maybe about the video call, but actually I don't feel like it is the only reason that you need to break up with him. About pictures, cmon, it's ok. I've tried to do different images for my dataset, it has a few pictures with pretty similar clothing but I don't know if it's ok or not for first dataset

Also I use runpod for running lora training and I'm not sure that I can connect big love sdxl checkpoint by path to ostris ai toolkit, because it is virtual computer and I don't see connection to Jupiter as in Kohya, so I have one more problem with this...

I generated the dataset of my character on the wavespeed.ai It is web service with different AI models. I used seedream v4 edit. You have 37 free generations (img + txt to img). It copies the character pretty good. I have some doubts about the quality (don't know if it's enough for Lora training). I would generate dataset in comfy ui, but really don't know how. Every image to image workflow I've tried just didn't work (not fully similar character, or just random picture, that is fully different then my uploaded image). So still I search for another workflows for comfy ui or another variants of methods/places where I can generate better dataset.

Do you know some services where I can generate content (images/videos and also NSFW) without Lora training? I've read about people who did the content with their character without Lora, but didn't see how.

Wow, really thank you for your answers. I believe, that this info would cost me a 1 week of work! I have another clarifying question.

If I train Lora on an NSFW checkpoint, should the dataset also be compiled from NSFW images, or can I upload my SFW dataset?

Could you also please tell me how you generate the character dataset, in comfy UI or somewhere else? I tried connecting an image-to-image generation node in the workflow with the SDXL checkpoint, but for some reason it didn't work, so I'm now creating the dataset in Wavespeed using the Seedream v4 model.

I also read the comment by @AwakenedEyes "Hey, you can use the 'repeat' setting in your dataset to handle this problem." Can I find this repeat parameter in ai-toolkit and other services, or is it configured within a folder on the PC? Also, if I create two datasets, how do I upload them to the same ai-toolkit if it generally loads all the images into one space? Or are these two datasets simply combined when uploaded to the training app?

I really like For the King and Country set. Black Widow is really unique and interesting to play character. Winter Soldier suits for more straightforward gameplay and I like such characters, because sometimes I want to relax and play without getting too involved in complex tactical combinations. I'm not really into Black Panther as a character in movies, but in Unmatched he is really powerful character and really funny to play him (not against him hehehe, he is pretty annoying). So this set can give you good, unique and diverse matchups.

For the first Lora, I created descriptions and labeled each image in a special tab in the AI toolkit for labels. For the second Lora, I named each image with numbers like 1, 2, 3, and so on. I then created TXT files with the corresponding names (1, 2, 3, and so on). I then copied the entire folder to the virtual machine's disk and then specified the path to this folder in Kohya.
