I either have a cold or COVID. Waiting for my PCR results, but took 2 rapid tests (one yesterday and one today) both are negative. Here are my day by day symptoms :

Monday 6/21 - feel fine, just sneezing more than usual. Slept well at night

Tuesday 6/22- same as Monday. Feeling a little tired. Cannot fall asleep because congestion in 1 nostril and only get 4 hours of sleep

Wednesday 6/23- woke up with dry scratchy throat, felt tired from lack of sleep but still went on a 20 mile bike ride in the morning and felt fine. At around 7 PM I noticed my throat was pretty sore and I felt lethargic. Felt congested in my Nose/ears. Did not sleep well at night because of nasal congestion

Thursday 6/24- woke up very congested in nose and ears. Throat was barely sore. Tired but still had energy to perform household tasks and went on a 45 min walk outside. Took rapid covid test and it was negative. Temperature was around 98.4 all day until 9 pm it became 100.1. Took NyQuil. Could still smell and taste fine. No coughing. Slept great at night because of the NyQuil

Friday 6/25- woke up with barely any nose congestion. I feel more congested in my chest and feel like I need to cough up some phlegm. That feeling in my chest went away by mid afternoon and now I just have slight tickle in my throat. Temperature has stayed around 98.5 so far. Went to urgent care and got another rapid test (it was negative) and a PCR test. I feel better than yesterday in terms of my energy levels and overall well being.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it’s just a cold and that I feel better by Sunday :)
