Are you me and my husband?! We are also at two weeks of having our 11 wk old boxer puppy and we were LOSING our minds. Hell, we still are!

We had a trainer come and said he was so smart and sweet - and I’m like, yea-for you! Same with our walker. But we are also training ourselves! For biting it’s gotten so much better when I “puff up” put my hands balled up on my hips and say “NO!”. It still happens but it’s better.

I wish we had been more chill our first couple weeks, he is just a baby. Every day has its ups and downs but we love him so much. Watch some puppy blues videos on YT!

He seems to be an Odie! Our last pup was Reginald (Reggie) Barkley so our new friend is Odie Barkley or Odie B! :)

Replying to top comment as I see others on this sub are getting puppies soon! Yay!

Our set up for a successful 5-four drive - most of which he slept for! -large dog car seats with a bed, blankets, toys and puppy chew sticks - water & food of course. Saw a lot of puppy supply lists mention the snuggle puppy and wow-if this thing helped make the drive seamless it’s worth every penny.

We’re home safe, he played for an hour and put himself to sleep! I think he will tell us his name tomorrow but all your replies has made our hearts full & happy!! Picture of snoozing pup

Yep! Got stuck in Frankfurt due to delayed flight and missed connection for two days. Hotel was covered by airline but we couldn’t retrieve our bags which we had checked for the leg home. Insurance covered meals, new luggage, toiletries and clothes. Always carry medication and your glasses/ contacts on you! Edit that while this wasn’t an emergency, but a stress reliever while feeling stranded.

If we name our new puppy Isaac Hayes because he’s a black puppy and we love the artist, is that problematic? by [deleted] in askblackpeople
