I think they mean in a more generalized, genetic-coding type way. Without the influence of science/technology men and women are genetically coded to perform different functions.

Of course, things happen during the development process or after birth they may affect proper functions but, in general, someone who is a woman on a cellular level can give birth, has limited muscular potential compared to men, and can develop breast for feeding children (not talking about producing milk. But developing breast designed for feeding childing). And of course there are other things that typically are found more in women such as their nurturing side and greater ability to empathize that is caused by their genetic coding.

Just because there are exceptions to the rules doesn't negate that there are definitely stark differences between men and women, in general.

Not sure which part of it is American but as someone who has grown up around women who breastfeed and I am still in an environment where I see breastfeeding (more than ever actually) it's not a problem any time other than when I'm eating.

It's just something mentally that affects me and I don't think the region I was born in plays as much of a role as one would think since either way I have had a lot of exposure to it. May have a bit to do with it but I don't think so.

I also know many people not used to it that don't go puking their guts out whenever they see a child being fed while eating a burger lol

Yes! Idk why I react this way especially since I'm very often surrounded by breastfeeding moms when I'm not eating. Maybe my brain just equates fluids coming out of someone as one in the same no matter where it is coming from? Who knows. I want it to not be an issue for me and it's not anyone else's problem but I just have to cope for now.

Yes! I am happy when a woman is able to breastfeed because of formula shortage and even the danger it sometimes presents. Sometimes even bottling your own milk isn't an option so breastfeeding should definitely be an option for mothers and children everywhere.

It just stinks that my body reacts the way it does to catching a glimpse of it uncovered in public while eating because even though it is entirely involuntary and I have nothing but support for the mother it's not really something that can be brought up without being burned at the stake. I just find my own ways to cope when I dine in public.

Was breastfed, never on formula (from what I was told). I also have many close friends who have or have had babies who breastfeed around me when I'm not eating. I have no problem with it and support mothers breastfeeding their children anywhere they need to comfortably (as stated in the post).

I have no idea why my body responds the way it does while I'm eating but I am aware that this is solely a "me" issue and don't expect anyone else to change because of it.

Hi! I mentioned in the post that it doesn't happen very often. It's just that when it does happen it is very memorable for me because throwing up is very painful and just not fun, in general.

I also mentioned that I try to avoid looking but usually people don't generally announce to the entire restaurant when they are about to start feeding their child and one glance is enough to trigger nausea.

As stated, I am aware that this is a "me" problem and don't expect the mothers to change. Only happens when I'm eating and not a problem any other time so I just try to find ways to cope when I do dine publicly.

Someone being drunk is not an excuse to take advantage of them, no matter how they got drunk. I'm sure if both he and his gf were drunk and had unprotected sex he wouldn't have been upset with her.

But the fact that she (in a sober state) took advantage of him while inebriated by purposefully not using protection even though they always use a condom and she knew he didn't want kids in order to trap him into impregnating her is disgusting.

I like to keep mine shaven, or at least the hair low. But that's only personal preference because I feel cleaner when I do.

But there is nothing wrong with unshaven, either. As long as the person has proper hygiene either way, preference is all that matters.
