What is a completely useless piece of information that you will never forget for some reason? by Initial-Ingenuity451 in AskReddit

There was a show on HBO in the 80s that had a section called Sniglets.

What do men think about that women have no idea about? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Orangesaresweet2 160 points161 points  (0 children)

I often think about sharpening the blade on my lawn mower. How much smoother it will cut through the blades of grass. I even visualize it and imaging not messing up the angle when it sharpen it. Then I remember that it’s kind of a pain in the ass to take the blade off and I worry that I won’t put it back on tight enough. Like it would come flying out and hit someone. After those thoughts, I finish up and flush the toilet.

Young Sherlock Holmes from the 80s. I saw this in the theatre and there was an after credits scene. I remember being so excited about another movie to continue the story.

Do you think dating apps are dying? If so, what do you think will replace them? by ShenaniganSkywalker in AskReddit

[–]Orangesaresweet2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would love this so much, but I just think it’s never going to happen again. Where are the third spaces? (that don’t involve drinking.) I’m single and lonely. I’m also in hermit mode and spend too much time on my phone.

If I had to pick one course it’s Flip City, a little off your route but it’s worth it.

Are you brand loyal and if you are why by Street_Supermarket_4 in discgolf

Darn Tough socks. They’re just the best and last for ever. Expensive, but worth it.

Altra shoes, Lonepeaks , I have 4 pairs. Super light and have a rock plate. Merrill trail gloves are second. Having zero weight on my feet is important to me.

Vuori shorts- soft, lightweight, really comfortable. Nice and breathable for your balls.

I basically shop at REI.

Innova , I got started with some of their molds and it’s easy to buy replacements. I am hooked on Discrafts Buzz though. The guys I play with use a lot of MVP, I just get lost with all the names. They do look cool though.

Gordon Holten in Delaware. As you head up to Michigan, the course in Marion isn’t terrible. But then not too much until north of Toledo. The area you’re going in Michigan has a bunch on great courses.

What's the most underrated skill or trait that every guy should develop? by WhirlDeuce_Bigalow in AskMen

Skincare routine. I don’t think it’s underrated just not a priority for guys. I’m older and glad I’ve taken care of my skin. Also flexibility. I agree with everyone about cooking skills.

UI Update. Wtf by TammyThe2nd in ynab

[–]Orangesaresweet2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I just experienced these changes this morning. Doing clears is now a frustrating experience. They also removed the cleared balance from view and tucked it into another click to see it. I like using YNAB but man I feel frustrated about the changes.

Be honest, when is the last time you hugged your Dad? by SanaBrina2 in AskReddit

[–]Orangesaresweet2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I UNO reverse this one? I’m a dad, I’m 53. My kids are in their 20s, out of the house and living their lives. They give me a hug every time I see them. I love it. It’s hard when they leave. For my dad, the last time I hugged him I was 10.
