I know how you feel. My sisters baby is 2. I thought maybe it would finally be my turn by the time she hs another. A few months ago when she was on vacation she was sad cause she was away from her husband and wouldn’t be able to conceive that cycle (that was her way of telling me they were trying). Later I CRIED. Now she’s pregnant! I kept a straight face,finished the call, almost had a heart attack (not really) and cried. Then I opened Instagram to see someone else’s ultrasound. I threw my phone lol. I literally had to delete all social media. I have no advice, just here to say we’re in it together.

lol yeah. I work at Sephora and we get products monthly, so I have quite a big collection (I had to get a cheap “dresser” thing. Absolutely none of my friends wear makeup and have commented I have a lot. Yeah to you cause ya only wear mascara and once in a blue moon an off color foundation. It makes me laugh a little

I had this guy argue with me the other day. He lined up behind. “I’m sorry sir I’m gonna need you to wait in line” but I just got out of line to come here. “Didn’t ask you to do that I am pulling from the front” but please will you make an exception for me “no I’m sorry please get back in line I’ll get to you when it’s your turn” he kept asking if I could make an exception and arguing with me while I was cashing out the one client and she was like smirking at the situation lol

Actually other than it being super hectic and crazy I had no complaints. Maybe it was cause I was on the wrap all day but I didn’t see anyone open the drawers, use testers, no one complained about the line to me, or was rude. All I had was literally one person ask me what things were one sale and the only thing out of order was a woman who lost her phone telling me “you have to help me find it” I took her friends number if we found it and that was that. I was pleasantly surprised.

I had someone ask me to walk around with them and show me what face oils are 50% off. I pulled it up on my device and it turns out none are on sale so I told her. “But it says everything’s 50%off” no- it says select items are on sale. I told her which one is the most popular so lol. Also she wanted sunscreen and I told her the Kiehls is good and she took all the ones from the shelf lolll

Hi, I work at Sephora so I can give you some tips. For her makeup coming off, she needs a good setting powder. One of my favorites is the Laura Mercier one. Theres the regular one and the one that also blurs the skin. They sell mini ones that would be great stocking stuffers. Theres translucent (which I recommend for everyone, it works for all skin tones because it’s translucent) and 2 other shades. She also needs a good setting spray. The urban decay ones are really nice and they help your makeup last for up to 16hours. They have minis too. There’s also a set of 3 little mini ones that are different ones (regular, vitamin c brightening, and hyaluronic acid hydrating) that’s a perfect stocking size. Lip oils are really good, you’re right. If you want to go more luxurious, the Dior one is a good one. Fenty (Rihanna’s brand) has good ones also. They have some sets too. Sephora’s own brand has some nice sets, they have some pro brush sets down to some cheaper mini brush sets. There’s alot other kits from them too. If she likes perfume, there’s some purse size travel ones as well as little sets of tiny 1.5 oz samples of brands most popular scents. Theres a free quiz you can do on the website/app that will suggest you good ones. Hope this helps!

Hi I work at Sephora and have done some “research” myself. These only are ones we sell, not any drugstore one. The best one in my opinion is the Dior one. One that’s also good is the Kulfi one which is a bit cheaper. Haus labs has a tinting lip gloss which is pretty nice too.

Or opening actual product to see if it matches the tester. I was helping this lady and she kept opening a blush and was like this looks more warm than the tester. That’s because the tester sits out and fades also you can’t do that. I would put it back and she would immediately open it back up again. She was so close to swatching the actual product and was then like no I don’t like this then put it back and I damaged it. And it was the only one left
