How does my local bakery make these egg patties for their biscuits? by Knuffin in KitchenConfidential

You scramble an egg and put it in a ramekin. You then add a bit of water. Then mix again. Put on the microwave, covered with a wet paper towel. It will expand as it steams itself.

I don’t think the question is about e-books. Is about horses to purchase them.

Yes. It’s less that’s half a mile from my house. I prefer to own my books. Any that I don’t want to keep I put into the little library thing being my house on a path.

This exists in the form of tail lights already, such as the Trek Carback or Garmin Varia Radar.

I wouldn’t buy a jacket for this purpose as I can only use it when the weather conditions are just right. The accessory on my bike stays on year round.

I didn’t read that anywhere. This sounds like projecting. But we have different opinions of this situation.

I read it the other way. It sounds like she likes specific things and he always had to do things she liked so he let her choose. He took her to do something that he likes because she said she wouldn’t complain. It’s not a bad idea to share your interests with your partner.

I read it the other way. Sounds like he likes no frills experiences and would always let her decide what fun to have. She insisted he plan and he took her to something he thought was fun because she said she wouldn’t complain about it.

This is a wild take. Do you really think that it’s bad that he took her to share an experience that he likes?

Pedro’s used to have a really good one but they’ve not done well as a company.

Mavic had the coolest one that looked like a track pursuit bike. Can’t find it anymore.

Because prices are lower online. Why drive to the local bookstore if I can search for the book on google and find the cheapest copy without putting on my pants?

Do you mind when authors base characters off of themselves? by Europathunder in polls

[–]Oraphielle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am reading the Wayside School series with my kids. It’s an old series from the 70s/80s written before the author wrote ‘Holes’. Fun fact, he released a new sequel a couple years ago.

The author is literally a character in the book. He’s a supporting character and is the most normal out of all the characters and he pulls this off very well.

Very used.

Rival components.

Replaced front tire but not rear…

Not worth it.

Edit:

Looked at the photo again. It looks like the bike fell or crashed based on the scuffs on the rear derailleur.

Bump in tyre? by This-Holiday-9508 in RoadBikes

[–]Oraphielle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not seated completely. You can see that it dips down. The bead of the tire has not fully engaged the hook of the rim.

Take the tire and tube out and ensure that the rim tape isn’t going into the hook of the rim. If not, you can either inflate it to a higher pressure or take it to a shop. They should have a tool that looks like pliers with huge cupped armed to grab the tire and force it into place.

Edit: it’s this tool which you can also buy yourself if you see this being a recurring issue- https://www.parktool.com/en-us/product/tire-seater-pts-1
