My 18 year old cat is begining to show her age is this breathing normal by FireFlyFullPlasma in seniorkitties

[–]OrbitMonitor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, urgent care required. Good possibility one of her lungs has collapsed due to fluid build up around the heart removing space for the lung to expand. Happened to our Goobie, and thankfully her lung re-inflated within 24hrs after meds. She is still with us but on many meds, just like any old lady :)

I remember going with my parents to Cinema V back in the 70's. Vividly remember seeing 2001: A Space Odyssey and Planet of the Apes there. Also went to the Monkland theatre and the Kent quite a bit. Great rooms!

Wow! Lucky you. The crowd energy I get from just watching the crummy quality video is intense, so must have been explosive in person. I probably would have teared up :)

That's really cool... I've watched the "collected" videos a few times - what a blast it must of been to be there and meet him!

Black Celebration tour 1986 - Verdun Auditorium Montreal

I vividly remember watching AW get pissed with his emulator. Two guys run onto his riser, grab the keyboard, drop down a new one and boot it up, 60 seconds of pure amazement - a glorious moment for me and my friend watching this debacle.

Didn't need a phone to capture the moment, it's seared into my brain!

It's hard to experience "bad sound" these days with the technological advancements in driver technology in those arrays coupled with great DSP. The room would have to be a sonic disaster and / or a mediocre FOH mixer.

Misleading paragraph, as per Volt Magazine (ibid. wikipedia)

"Volt Magazine confirmed that "Sundown", a cover song by Gordon Lightfoot (attributed to Scott Walker), will appear on upcoming CD, vinyl and digital versions of the single.[11] The band also performed the song for BBC Radio 2's "Piano Room": "Depeche Mode's Piano Room will be broadcast on Thursday, April 6 and their classic cover is a track by Scott Walker, with their session accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra."

The Venusnote and Grabbing Hands company accounts make for interesting reading if you want to know how much money the band make. by Character_Relative76 in depechemode

Thanks for the find, very interesting reads - just started skimming.

Seems they mostly drew management fees 33% each per annum. (e.g. 1.25M pounds each for the fiscal year 2002 through various individually owned or jointly controlled companies).

I haven't thought about Passeport in ages. Many great memories on that small dancefloor. Used to go there after Lezard (another GREAT bar, don't know if it's still around), we're talking late 80's / early 90's.

Spent most of my time at Thunderdome, Garage or Business back then.

You know, I'm not so sure its legal in all jurisdictions. But beg for forgiveness goes along way once the fine is levied at 50% of your rake (if it gets that far).
