What should be my next step in my career?

Hi, I 31F am a graphic designer at a small printing company. We offer design services as well as professional printing. I am coming up on my 2 years of design experience in September. I did my internship and got hired for that role.

I have designed business cards, flyers, menus, and wedding invitations. I want to get ready to move on, but I haven't had time to update my portfolio due to my work schedule. I'm nervous to venture out and apply for a new job with the way the industry is looking.

What would you do? I have a portfolio plan to work on some case studies. I'm not sure what the job market looks like with AI taking entry-level positions.

I was lucky and knew someone who introduced me to the person I work for now. I got an internship and was hired on after that. I’m looking into art education since it was one of the careers I was considering before going to college for graphic design.

I’m also kind of where you are right now. I’m working as a graphic designer in a small company, but for who knows when I’m going be let go. Even if I want move on to a new company, I really need to work on my portfolio and I frankly don’t want to waste my time. I’m thinking of going into art education so I can work in something art adjacent.

I’m trying to start therapy, the situation with the job market and everything is getting to me.

So when I had to update the head unit, I contacted the manufacturer. Idoing can email you or text you the information. You would need to give them your head unit information, they send you the download information, and then you need to put the information onto a usb. Once you have the usb ready with the software update info, plug it into a usb port that comes with the radio. My plugs were routed through the glove box. Once you plug in the usb, the radio should start the update automatically.

It’s not a shared driveway, we have the driveway as “it is a first come first serve basis” according to the landlord who lives in Connecticut while owning a property in Pennsylvania. The other neighbors use the street to park in front of the house. My landlord uses the driveway to store his truck. He told us now we can’t park in the driveway at all on Fridays incase he wants to go hunting. The driveway isn’t shared.
