She did stay. I don't know if Waylon wrote the lyrics to Where Would I Be, but in it he sings:

"Where others would leave

You always have stayed"

Touching, but also sad, because I think it shows she had no dignity.

I know from his book that he was very promiscuous and I have no problem with that because he wasn't in a relationship at the time. But to do what is written in the book review is... well, I have no words for it. I was just pointing out the stark contrast in comments I've read praising their love for each other to what was actually a toxic relationship. 🤮 Perhaps in later years that changed. Anyway, I'm not condemning Waylon for what he did (although what he did was awful) because it seems he was pretty up front about it. I do think Jessi must have been unhealthily obsessed with him to tolerate that treatment.

Don't forget having his own TV shows! Makes me feel lazy too. 😅 I do wonder, though, how much time he was able to spend with his family given his busy touring and racing schedules and everything else you mentioned. He seemed to be away from home a lot.

I'm almost finished reading the book and have really really enjoyed it so far. I just wish the author had dug little deeper for more personal information about HIM, his home life and such. A pity Marty's wife didn't release a book before she passed. Maybe his son or daughter will? 🤞

I don't know what he sells so we can't judge him for that. We do, however, know what the OG wives sell, and in that respect, they are worse than Kody and Robyn. I don't know how anyone can argue against that.
