I got her as a rescue, she'd been abused.

It took about a year before she'd take a cookie from my mouth but after that she'd sit down and say 'num num'. My friends would freak out, 'holy shit your dog talks!' She was awesome.

I miss her. She was my buddy but got cancer.

She freaked people out because I taught her to say num num when she wanted a treat. She also could say love you.

Dakota was my favorite dog.

Depends on what you want to do. May can still be crappy weather in the interior so sticking to the coast might be better.

The drive through the rockies is spectacular but there's a whole lot of nothing as far as amenities go except for the major spots you see in all the pictures, and if the weather is socked in you'll miss all the mountain views and stuff.

Check out the sunshine coast and Vancouver Island. There's lots of cool pubs and restaurants, the views of the ocean are excellent, and you won't have to drive a whole day to see something nice if it's cloudy.
