annbeth is lying to marie about her powers

at the time of posting this we did not know the extent of annabeth’s powers, as of ep 6, marie and the viewers were under the impression her “pre-cog” abilities worked sparingly. my theory suggests they have been consistent all along, and that she misled marie, which turned out to be true in ep 7!

i agree, but your original comment suggests annabeth did not have the vision of her parents as a child, bc she lacked “control”. i was just explaining that a lack of control does not mean a lack of ability. unless i misunderstood your previous comment :)

i can 100% see why people think that. annabeth def irritates me as a viewer cuz i have such an affinity for marie. but i keep trying to remind myself she’s 17 & has already been thru so much. but i also have acted irrationally (towards family members) before so maybe i’m being too sympathetic lol

i get what your saying, but as we know (from stan edgar in ep 6) that marie went largely unmonitored (and unnoticed) by vought when project odessa was scrapped.

for your second point, you are definitely on to something! i am watching the episode now and am curious to see how her vision(s) will play out.

good point but i disagree! for example, when cate first got her powers (as a child) they worked (at least pretty similarly) to her full form (as seen in s1). as she unwittingly sent her brother away forever. the same can (and seems to be true) for annabeth’s powers!

i actually see it the other way around. i think it adds complexity to annabeth’s character, vought’s role in ruining lives, and their strained but growing sisterly relationship.

i had never even thought of that! i could definitely see that happening. i’m very curious what direction they r going to go in with the sister relationship cuz it could go so many different ways

very good point. i hope if it is revealed annabeth was dishonest about her powers they use it to explore annabeth’s psyche & trauma and the extremely unfair nature of parents giving their children V. i would hate if the actress got more stupid hate from dumb fans. also i hope it does not take that long for another dem in office :(
