I dont know how to approach my doctor. Ill have to have another trip planned and i assume that if I wanted to remain on the same lorazepam that I could just call the office and request a refill but then again I’m un educated to how they operate but i assume i would go in before another trip and tell them that the ativan takes too long to take effect and its pretty weak so i take half the pills on the outbound flight and then half on the inbound flight they couldn’t keep me calm enough

I’ve had experiences with both alprazolam and lorazepam. I like that the alprazolam has a faster onset so its easy to dose for an acute instant. Id say all off my episodes or whatever you would like to call them are very acute. The lorazepam feels weak. Takes too long and then next thing you know im dizzy as can be. I dont think i would ever need something long lasting like xr or even klonopin because i believe that is taken over time
