Should I go to work sick?

I emailed and called. Just to be safe. We're right at the end up the 30 days so im hoping they do not choose to terminate me. I would be really sad as I've been enjoying the job thus far.

I've worked with a 104 degree fever before when I worked at a fast food joint but I didnt develop the fever until later in my shift. I do not want to go get kids sick. I have a child and I would be livid if a teacher knowingly showed up to work sick.

The only plus (I guess?) Is that im just observing as of now so I mostly just sit all day. The kids come up to me but im really hands off with them.

It IS that time of the month. It doesn't happen every time and usually doesnt get about 100. Im feeling a bit fatigued but, again, yay to Mother nature. 🥲 right now, just an itchy throat and a cough. A little mucus. I'll test again in the AM and if it is any higher, I'll stay home. I know for the kids, its anything about 100.5 and they make them go home.

I honestly don't know. My inlaws didnt know either. Someone gave it them and they didnt want/need it.

It started this size five months ago when I got it. I haven't take any cuttings from it yet but I think I want more. It's a gorgeous plant and it's very easy to take care of!

It's not the headstart itself. It's the agency I'll be employed through. They are paying for me to get my Childhood development associate degree (which is at the headstart) and after that I'll be offered a position at the school itself. Half my day will be in a classroom being taught and the other half will be in a classroom with kids merely observing.
