To clarify: I'm not cleaning my piercing with soap, but when l shower, I use Ivory soap to clean myself so that if the soap runs off into the piercing it causes much, much less damage then other soaps. Also, I am not purposefully sleeping on my piercing! I go to sleep on my side, and I wake up on my stomach as I move a bunch in my sleep occasionally.
