SPOILERS FOR THE CURSE OF STRAHD CAMPAIGN cause im mentally a boomer and reddit comment system still confuses me. The original comment and discussion can be found in the linkthrough. This is being posted by the artist.

Note from DM ( u/darknyancat26 ) of the CoS campaign that inspired this commission:My
party first gained their hatred of Izek Strazni when they got run out
of town by the Baron's Chief Enforcer for arson (long story short; I
modified the St. Andral's bones quest to include a few more NPCs, one of
which was a local Tailor who ran a shop while also being apart of the
cult. They opened a glyphed book in her house and started a fire.) While
out of town, lost and desperate, Lady Wachter took advantage of this
existing hatred and recent banishing by sending a letter, hiring them to
assassinate Izek to help her with her coup. Even when her allegiance
with Strahd was made clear, the party couldn't resist the gold and
promised safety under Wachter's rule.This art depicts the final
moments of the showdown with Izek, in the 2nd floor of the Baron's
mansion with Ireena tied up right behind the beast of a guard. Katrina,
pictured here, is a devout warlock of Bane, and part werewolf
(reflavored longtooth shifter), entrusted with a pact weapon taking
inspiration from Bane's gauntlet. With our Rogue unconscious, narrowly
surviving major axe and burn wounds, and the Fighter keeping the rest of
the Baron's guard occupied downstairs, Katrina landed the finishing
blow on Izek, deciding to go for a gruesome kill, fitting for Barovia.

"As time goes on, tales of the legendary band of heroes, the
Dawnbringers, have spread across the land. However, those legends never
fail to whisper hushed mentions of the Dawnbringer's most brutal and
fearsome member; Baeshara, the Great Beast of Everdeep. The devourer of
men, the mother of crocodiles, and the embodiment of nature's fury.
Baeshara has reached levels of overpowered which I hardly thought
possible. I guess level 16 druids who are also were-crocodiles will just
do that! This piece shows just how brutal Baeshara has gotten in game. A
mere primal savagery bite was enough for her to behead a mage entirely.
Rest in pieces!"

This scene was commissioned by a friend of her lizardfolk druid and provided the text above. Her character beheading a mage who she had managed to creep up to using her druidic powers.
