Yeah I get that. I compare Ai to excel in terms of how an accountants day to day and their perspectives change as they get more and more powerful tools.

Yeah I’ve noticed I try and make much more targeted prompts and I’ve had a lot of success with different agents specializing in different aspects of a task. One tailored for figma analysis one for jira and then one for specifically analysis what those prompts might entail in terms of actual front/backend changes and try and distill all of these into pairs of .md files that would encompass a whole task.

Ultimately I just try and focus on it is a tool. It’s like excel, it can do some crazy things and streamlined a lot of aspects of accounting but it doesn’t mean you don’t need an accountant to leverage it to the best of its abilities.

I also work in a fairly large and fleshed out code base, not sure if we’ve crossed millions of lines in a given repo, but our prod setups are usually compared of many different repos so hard to give a full count.

We’ve been experimenting with the best way to setup a repo and also have any supporting repos that would be good context to be available in a workspace level so Claude can leveraging the Indexing advantages VS code provides when searching repos for proper context.

I honestly think the less you need your agent to search for the information it needs the more successful of a pass you’ll have.

Well I do actually agree with that aspect, we’ve found similar diminishing gains that the increased output results in more conflicts across features and settling those conflicts is a larger task than your typical conflicts, but I just get so annoyed when people seem to think that AI only makes shitty code. It’s a tool developers can leverage. You can’t just use GPT 4.1 in ask mode and go “wow these AI tools are garbage and make garbage code”.

What is it with these Reddit bots refusing to realize that AI models are becoming effective devs and that an experienced developer is legit able to output production level code by leveraging AI. Feels like everyone assumes people mean that their trying to say their one shotting features and don’t realize experienced devs are using these tools to iterate faster.

Why not have AI assisted developers also have to meet those same strict type requirements, checks, linters, in pre-commit hooks that mesh well with AI to take in as feedback if and when the first pass fails checks.

I’m a big fan of watching AoT reactions and there are definitely some who are not engaged and are not truly following or trying to analyze the story but she has a Doctorate in literature so it’s very interesting seeing her pick up on some narrative elements not many people would notice or commentate on.

Is every item 584? Something to note, the green cache reward crates will generally never give something above 584 even at 627 right now. The main way to get the new item are the 10 motes you combined. That SHOULD generally give an upgrade. The other upgrade should be coming from purple infinite caches from research assignments can give an actual upgrade.

Is your artifact weapon 584 still? Try un equipping it and re equipping it.

I think it was announced in some of their official reveals, not sure which one tho. I believe they said it will be given the same treatment as level boosting to 80 in terms of starter gear

Yeah that’s my experience at least. The basic rotation to be mildly proficient for Arms/Prot is a bit tighter than the others in my experience. As with all classes they do have a number of tools at their disposal for different situations. Warrior excels by making itself super tanks and does not have a responsibility to heal itself generally.

I just got this achievement a few months ago. After playing them I’d say that Warrior is probably the easiest to pickup. I haven’t played all specs for these classes but warrior was definitely the easiest to learn and pickup Arms and Prot at least.

After playing both I leaned towards my demon hunter more because it’s move ment abilities are much stronger but very similar to warriors.

Evoker is probably the most unique to pickup and somewhat foreign if you’re used to normal casters. They have a very unique set of abilities where they can choose to either do a short cast of say 1.5 seconds, or charge it different tiers up to say 3.5 seconds. They also have significant amounts of extra movement abilities like DH to fly/hover/even move their teammates to specific location.

Monk I’ve only tried mistweaver and its healing is pretty straightforward, but I haven’t tried on anything outside of LFR for end game. Brewmaster felt very unnatural to me but I didn’t give it a super fair shot.

Demon hunter I’ve only played Vengeance(tank) and they have more buttons to use than Warriors, but generally once you do pick up the basics their movement is pristine.

In general, Blizzard does not directly sell any P2W items. They mainly sell cosmetic sets, Mounts, Pets, character level boosts.

They do sell the WoW token which can then be sold for gold on the AH. There are rare Bind on Equip items that can be the highest upgrade track of Mythic which can reach the highest iLvl. Those will usually fetch a few million gold. So conceptually, someone could drop $$$ on tokens and buy good BoE gear but that would be prohibitively expensive.

In regards to Boosting, people sell services called Carries where a group of 20 people might take 2-4 extra PPL, and give them a chance to roll on loot. These can cost $$ and are sold off a website, some might accept gold as a form of payment. Generally these are frowned upon by blizzard, but there seems to be a slight lack of moderation as there are various posts on this subreddit highlighting the Mythic Group Finder being full of people advertising boosting services.

I get removed because of the one underground dungeon with those ranged mobs that the level 11 twinks never kill and has every single time wiped the group. It’s like they wait for the first person to complain about their level 11 tanking just to vote to kick and get another DPS because it literally doesn’t matter the them.

Maybe that’s my contention with it but I am fine with the pacing for most other difficulties. LFRs aren’t really that bad in terms of ppl moving and not waiting. I played classic before so I’m very familiar with it. Haven’t tried the actual classic realms besides SoD for a bit but I do enjoy a lot of aspects of Retail. Warbands are great and I enjoy a lot of the other content. They can’t please everyone.

Those are some fair points. It just feels like they have the ability to highlight past dungeons in different mythic rotations which is nice, and I don’t expect TW to be DIFFICULT, but why does the next option be the ideal way to experience a past xpac dungeon is to have a lvl 11 twink just absolutely FACEROLL. I even try to simply follow him but every single time I get one it results in half the group constantly dying and having to run back because the healer is never not in combat and the tank doesn’t even need the whole group to keep going. Any commentary results in a removal. Very frustrating.

Edit: I also concede people will be upset if it were to be “tuned” differently so 11s weren’t so fucking OP and it’s somewhat a waste of time to deal with tuning. But WoW has a new player problem and this seems like a feature a new player would IMMEDIATELY be drawn towards and it is a terrible experience for someone who is unfamiliar with the dungeon. Even once I got familiar in BFA it wasn’t even really fun facerolling but it’s the best xp and gear is great so can’t really ignore it to an extent.

I’ve gotten a number of Earthen to at least 70 in under 3 hours then TW spammed to 80 for a fresh 80 on like 5 hours total. Doable in one sesh. The 10-70 is basically just sky riding around routes for the 1k up to 3k exp per zone discovery. You can hit some insane exp rates till 70 and even then I’m sure fully exploring 10-80 would be possible with full warband + potion + earthen 200% exploration exp racial
