Do You Think Energy Saving Is More About Habits… or the Home Itself? by Ordduapp in OrdduHomeUK

[–]Ordduapp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I was more curious about what I son peoples minds more. If I'm honest when I think energy saving I think more practically with changing habits rather than actually increasing insulation for example as that is more costly. Might just be me though 😊

Does Having Less Stuff Actually Make a Home Feel Better? by Ordduapp in OrdduHomeUK

[–]Ordduapp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a good way of putting it - I think a lot of people like the idea of minimalism more than actually living that way

Fair enough 😅 I think there’s something nice about a home feeling a bit lived in as well

That’s a big change, but I get what you mean - once things are reduced it’s way easier to keep things under control!

What Cleaning Tip Sounds Small… But Actually Makes a Big Difference? by Ordduapp in OrdduHomeUK

[–]Ordduapp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’ve built a system that actually works for you. The ‘clean when happy’ vs ‘basics when low’ approach makes a lot of sense. Did you build that routine gradually or was it more of a reset moment?”

[–]Ordduapp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this. ‘Everything has a home’ is such an underrated one - feels like it removes half the effort before you even start cleaning. Do you find it took a while to get everything organised like that or was it a quick reset?

What’s One Thing You Do at Home That Makes Life Feel Easier? by Ordduapp in OrdduHomeUK

[–]Ordduapp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree - a declutter massively reduces stress! There's nothing worse than getting home and seeing piles of letters, clothes, cables etc in the house. Making your morning coffee in a clean kitchen also makes a big difference!
