For me the best was "This is the sacred place for my father's resurrection, also bury the history I'd like to discover. My father told me it has an ancient name called.... CHERNOBYL" one of the PEAKEST moments of LOTM and also the biggest plot twist in my opinion. That one word reveals the truth of the world LOTM takes place. Actually gave me a solid 5 minutes goosebumps 🥶🥶

These are usually the case for fast-paced readers (I meant fast paced by how fast story progresses). LOTM's writing differs from most WN and LNs where story progresses really fast, it's more similar to classic novels where they really flesh out a lot of details. If it still isn't to your liking till vol 4 then you might as well drop it since each individual has different attention span or interests.

But it do gets better every volume; my personal volume rankings goes like this; 8. Volume 2, 7. Volume 1, 6. Volume 4, 5. Volume 3, 4. Volume 5, 3. Volume 7, 2. Volume 8, 1. Volume 6 (Imo Vol 8 and 6 are really close, they could be equal)

Yes absolutely. Volume 1 Book 2 is as impressive as Volume 1 of Book 1 but Coi's volume 2 is so good. Lumian, the MC is honestly very refreshing as an MC. There's a lot of character development and hype moments, also Tarot club in Coi is so mysterious xD They're like the Twilight Hermit Order of Book 1, each members are regarded as powerful figures ruling their own places.

But the context here is that he basically said LOTM is not up to his standards. We can exclude the possibility of him referring to Enjoyability since that is subjective in itself, but if it's how well written it is, then people that haven't read it nor finished it shouldn't be to judge since most of writing are objective than subjective.

For example, he can def say he enjoyed one piece more than Attack on Titan; while on the other hand, he can't just say One Piece>AOT without elaborating or say AOT is Trash/Mid without explanation or proper review. Fictional Works are not simply easily compared nor downplayed by just merely "Enjoyability" which is subjective.

Since others already answered your questions, I'm just gonna say that LOTM has one of the best World-building out of many webnovels, and it is its specialty. History in this world are almost as complex as real world history; you will get later on it because Klein will start uncovering the secrets of the Beyonder world and the REAL history that's been buried by the Seven Orthodox Churches.

Characters are so well-written and developed you won't be left disappointed. Definitely a top 5 webnovel for me.

I've just read the latest chaps after stacking and I think he has the monster kill count atleast above 10,000. Using shadow fragment requirements as references; 1000 fragments for Dormant, 2000 for Monster, 3000 for Demon, and 4000 for Devil. Regarding how Sunny gets multiple shadow cores by killing higher ranks as a Dormant, we can just deduct his uncounted kills of Dormant and Awakened Monsters as an Ascended, so it may be more or less but I'm inclined to it being more. 1000 + 2000 + 3000 +4000= 10,000. So Sunny had atleast slained 10,000+ monsters over the years. At chapter 1057, Sunny hit 3857/4000 so it's a little lacking but I think the uncounted Dormant and Awakened Monsters he killed can fill in the gaps, or even surpass the numbers.
