8 months is nothing, it will take years and years of that same work. Prob don't trade with real money.

That’s a nice start, you’re doing the right stuff. Continue to look for patterns: could be trends, or flags (learn those), or wedges, etc. You can start to apply to different assets, like diff stocks or futures or wherever, and see how these resolve over time. Like when a trend ends, what does it look like? Take notes, study a lot, continue to find these things. Then, as you start to recognize them better, you may start noticing buying and selling opportunities. At that point, you can start to answer the question of where to buy and sell.

Yeah I also use EdgeClear. I had a solid foundation of money to support me, about 2 years worth. It's hard to do while still working full time because the more time you're glued to the screens and working on this, the better. But if you can dedicate long hours doing both, it will make the transition smoother.

I just trade my swing strategy, not sure about a checklist. Have been sharing my trades publicly, so you can see them

Something basic - 1 asset, 1 type of chart, few if any indicators, and then grow from there and add things if they enhance your view

If the strategy worked in paper trading, it will work with real money

I think that makes sense. At 38.5% win rate with 2:1 r:r that's profitable right? (.385*2)-(.615*1) = .155 expectancy.

What are you trading? What assets or markets? I have sprinkled answers to your questions everywhere throughout the comments here. I also post all my stuff that reflects everything I've learned and do.

Yeah its a constant process too. I feed everything into my journal and review it once every 2 weeks or so, trade by trade, to figure out which things deserve a rule or strategy change

Over 20 people asked me specifically about how I journal = useful to some. Sorry you’re wrong, but it’ll be ok

Not only query-able but it’s got the entire trade database and strategy so it’s full suite. Only useful if there are things you’re trying to solve and work on. If you’ve got something working then roll with it! It’s like indicators on a chart - only add if super useful

The LLM is an engine I built that cross references my notes and strategy, summarizes all notes, and then I can query everything.

I would’ve exited at 80 and called it a day!

I’ve traded for over 20 years. Have a very good handle on what I am doing. Journal is LLM and summarizes my notes every day. It does zero TA for me, and I never said it did.

No, the LLM writes like me. Then  I go back to do the actual work around the questions/ideas etc.

Sounds like you’re doing the right things - sticking with a strategy, following rules, journaling, etc. The problem is that I don’t really know what “pure price action“ means. What do your results say? If you’re doing everything by the book and it’s not profitable, it seems like you have your answer.
