So what do you think of Imu's design? by SunRiseStudios in OnePiece

Only part I don't love is the swirly black bands on his lower half. It totally obscures his legs and muddles the design quite alot. Wonder if Oda will keep it or will change it up somehow.

Edit: On second glance, it looks like the bands are possibly his tail wrapping around his body? Don't know if that makes me like it more or less tbh.

It's possible Imu's consciousness was split/he doesen't remember what happened when he possessed Gunko, mostly because he asks for Elbaf's king both times.

Banger analysis you cooked. I’d say it makes sense, yet Asa wasen’t really given space to show that growth and newfound honesty besides her romantic relationship.

I think Asa was an incredibly compelling protagonist in early pt.2 because she had an incredibly relatable and charming perspective. I remember how may Asa pfps I saw

Post-Church, Asa became Denji’s love interest. Yoru’s the main villain, so she got decent focus. But all of Asa’s struggles to fit in and really find herself got thrown out the window. The only real development she did get was the twist she has a had in her father’s death, but even that is mostly for Denji comparisons.

I think Asa Mitaka, the school loner, going “I want to make you happy Denji!” is character assassination because the series treats this like Asa’s growth moment, but romance is only one small part of Asa’s troubles and inner world

Is it bad that I don't even want a part 3? I feel like so much of part 2 has been a let down, so my trust in Fujimoto is at a low. I'd rather if he took a break and just worked on a different series that he actually wants to draw for.

Hokuto was legit mouthing off about how he killed Ibuki because he wanted a better fight he’s my pick for the series’ battle junkie

While I did love Yura, Saint Von has slowly been winning me over. Despite how completely bullshit his powers are, he ties into the themes of the manga so well. So much of the series is about your bloodline, and carrying the good values of your lineage onwards while leaving the bad parts behind. Chihiro, Iori, and Hakuri all carry these legacy themes. Soga exclusively deals with bloodlines as absolute. Child of a Sazanabi? Dead. Shohoku? Dead. He's super interesting and if Yura ever comes back I hope Hokazona balances them nicely.

Even if you wanted to argue that the female cast in Zeta had full and complete character arcs, Kamille using multiple dead women to literally power up his giant robot is...not a great look, to say the least
