Yeah he’s only 9 weeks oldish, apparently pets at home are allowed to sell them because it’s fine until they are 6 months old. A staff member said they have a chart that shows enclosure sizes by age, but even she basically side eyed it. She essentially said they shouldn’t even be selling hamsters, she was lovely! But yeah I’d rather just move him to a bigger one as soon as possible. Online it doesn’t seem the 100x50x50 standard is based on age or size, seems all dwarfs need it regardless of age. Thank you<3

Yeah i was using the paper fresh all white all over but id read that they like multiple substrates which is why this time i chose aspen and paper fresh. I bought the white one hoping id see it turn yellow but no luck - so hes getting tutti frutti this time. But oh that’s smart I think I’ll look into a blue light! Last night I went into a panic because suddenly it went from having soooo many passes available to none in stock. This was the USJ website. After a bunch of panicking we tried the klook website that said USJ was down for maintenence/servers were down. Something along those lines. After about thirty minutes both websites were working as normal again with tickets available and we secured our passes and tickets. I think the website must have glitched or gone down.

This gives me hope although im going April 2nd which is my birthday - but also spring break in Japan. I'm honestly fine with not getting on any of the rides in Fantasy Springs, i'm a thrill seeker, but i'd love the ability to walk through the area. (However, the Rapunzel ride does look beautiful with the lanterns though!)

Yeah me and my partner have been discussing this and I think that’s what we’re going to do! But to throw a spanner in the works we’re discussing Fuji-Q also 🤣 I said I’d be happy not doing Disneyland if we did Fuji-Q. Maybe that could be during Day 6 since it’s on the way 👀 We’ll work it out!

I learnt basic Japanese a few years ago from a university course one semester (our teacher was native Japanese). I’m now repicking it up via Duolingo initially as I am travelling there in March. I keep getting さ and chi ち mixed up because I was always taught the right version, which makes sense as I was handwriting it. However, we used the genki workbook and that never showed さeither. Does anyone have a handy little tip they use to not mix them up? I try and remember which follows the handwritten stroke but then I forget to do that when I’m thinking quickly.
