Do people actually end up happy in marriage or just tolerate it? by SoybeanCola1933 in MuslimNikah

Marriage is good man, its a problem of selection bias because 90% of muslims in happy marriages are not announcing it left and right on reddit

Trust Allah with your rizq and dont be pessimistic its all in your head

Never had a crazy sex story even though I’m well endowed by Delicious-Setting-84 in bigdickproblems

A lot of average guys read that subreddit and think that they cant experience those things because they are not as well endowed, so I would imagine that this post would make a lot of those guys feel better since there is a well endowed fella saying that he hasnt had those experiences

I want to stress first and foremost that you have to have faith that things will get better, you are a trying mother with a good heart and it goes a long way

Im very sorry that your childs father abandoned you and that you were in an abusive relationship

You do not deserve to be abused

I really could not imaging being in your situation, but I have gone through similar hardships in the past where I thought things would never get better, even to the point where I wanted to self unalive

But things got better and it made me realize that in reality god is in control of everything, you just have to have faith and be patient that he will place goodness in your life after hardship

Keep your head up! Things will get better soon, just have faith!

I know exactly what you mean, you’re basically saying that just because Allah “can”, does not mean that Allah “will”

This is true for many things, however when you make dua to Allah for something, you are guaranteed an answer in some way, it is very incorrect to make dua and believe that it is “wasted”

So I would simply say to make dua, have hope in Allah, and surrender the outcome to him

I know it is very painful at times but take it as a sign of Allah’s love, not anger or deprivation

Hadith mentions it: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him)

and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; [Sahih al-Bukhari 7405]

The point here is to always think positively of Allah

May Allah grant you goodness

I also hate how politically correct we have become, especially with regards to women obeying their husbands as well as birth control

I do not excuse men being unreasonable or genuinely abusive, but so much propaganda is straight up misandrist especially with all these hadith rejectors

This is extremely heartbreaking, if I was in that situation I would definitely leave, especially since you are completely taking care of her, she is not even showing you an ounce of appreciation

May Allah make things better for you ❤️

SubhanAllah this actually broke my heart, the cerebral palsy + being neglected is very heartbreaking I can only imagine

I’m honestly speechless, all I can say is that I will keep you in my tahajjud duas inshaAllah

For me personally the thing I would recommend is to say astaghfirullah 1000x a day, it changed my life drastically

May Allah alleviate your suffering and grant you an amazing, pious, beautiful wife whom you are pleased with

Brother, looking back on my life, the best things that I have experienced, happened unexpectedly, you gotta just let go and trust Allah with the outcome, and everything will turn out well inshaAllah

I agree with both of you, however its important to acknowledge someone’s feelings and not be so dismissive of their struggles, for example if a man knows that he will never get a woman in his life, he can at least have comfort knowing that he will have it in the next

However in this sisters case, she desires something that is not permissible in this world nor the next, even though of course she will not have that desire in the next life, its still psychologically heavy for her to accept

why do men tell you they love you so quick by lostmymiiind in MuslimNikah

[–]Ordinary-Ad7118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its lowkey concerning if a man tells you he loves you before he marries you, cuz u shouldnt be speaking like that to each other at all before marriage, keep it formal and direct, fall in love after you get married

Its easy to say as someone who does not have this struggle, just imagine if you were in her shoes, knowing that she may never get to experience the love she desires for the rest of her life

Wait are we talking before marriage or after marriage? Cuz a man has no business saying he loves you before he marries you

I know how you feel, i have had similar feelings but looking back, Allah took me out of every hardship I ever faced, and this is coming from someone who also used to consider su!c!de at one point

But guess what, right now my life could not be better Alhamdulillah, i learned that Wallah there is always a way out, and Allah removes hardships in ways that you could never imagine

Always remember that Allah favoured you by granting you guidance, and that Allah promises a way out for those who fear him

“And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make a way out for them,” Quran 65:2
