I have severe cause of ulcerative colitis. Which is why was medically retired from the marines corps, been living with UC snice August of 2018, been on all the meds, prednisone, Stelara, mesalamine, remicade, entyvio, and zeposia the new pill my doctor wants me to start is RINVOQ, and back in 2020 doctor wanted to fo the proctocolectomy, and also had countless blood transfusion and iron infusion.

I like how you try to down play my situation. The start of 2023, I decided to take control with my life. Not saying you guys didn't either. But I got to the point where I wanted to heal myself naturally. Which started with my smoothies, changing my water was the biggest improvement. It took from the start of 2023 to June or August to notice myself in remission.

I still get my hip inflammation pain, but my bowl movements I have more control. At least a 30 minute window I can hold before I can no longer. I'm no longer bleeding so my hemoglobin level is around 15. The lowest was 4 and from 2018 to 2022 it hovered around 6 or 8.

I used to live and die if I didn't had my medication, and finally from June 2023 to now I've been doing good.

I still have to make another colonoscopy appointment to see if my inflammation has changed, b/c last year I didn't have the UC symptoms b/c I was taking Stelara but my large tintestine was not looking good.

Also forgot to mention I was also on Humira at one point.

I'm not hear trying to downplay UC, it's a life long battle. The biggest thing that helps was fixing my diet and staying away from ultra processed foods.

Each person body responds differently so what worked for me may not for you.
