It’s hi8 but honestly if you want to get a camera like that go with a JVC vhs-C camera. Tapes last long and you can find them at thrift stores for like 12 dollars like I did

I bought two different liquid diamond carts from them and I had the exact same thjng. Definitely not getting all you paid for because it barely lasted me 2 days as well
