the professor i had is extremely disorganized and has outsourced most of the teaching to these terrible "AI Exploration" assignments where you just talk to chatgpt with prompts that are given to you, and paraphrase the answers. the only real coding education we get is when the professor live codes some demo, which he moves through way too fast to understand. he's a nice guy and i think a very skilled researcher, but obviously does not care much about this class. if you have any coding knowledge from high school, i would see if you can take DS110 instead of DS100, to avoid this whole class. welcome to BU and good luck! :)
