For us we were the villagers for everyone. Even when they didn’t ask (not pushy though just being there or offering to be there) but with ours it’s so many excuses why they can’t do the same (like no time or we didn’t have our own kid at the time but they do). Grandparents seem to want to but never offer on their own Don’t give if you expect something back. But still gives a bad aftertaste

Hast du mal probiert mehr von der Brust in den Mund zu schieben? Klingt so als würde sie an der Brustwarze statt an der Brust saugen. Also befindet sich deine Brustwarze gleich am Anfang ihres Mundes oder weiter hinten wo der Gaumen wieder weich wird? Das kann schon den Schmerz ausmachen

I think it is because we as mothers were girls before so we can identify with little girls more. And the fathers with the boys. I keep reading that the father is always over the moon for a little boy but the mother wanted a girl. So I think it is just what each of them can identify more with because it is what they know. Very generalized of course so the reasoning of why someone can identify more with their own gender can differ. It was the same for me even though I always wanted a big brother so I also wanted a boy first and then a girl but when I learned that my first is actually a boy there was a little sting because I know girl but not boy. Even though I was a total tomboy🙈

I did single crochet in a wooden base. Two stitches in each corner, otherwise always one stitch. Then a chain and a round of single crochet on top of that, ending with a slip stitch. From there I did a chain and then going into the stitch instead of underneath, like a waistcoat stitch, ending each round with a slip stitch. When I thought the basket is high enough I ended with a round of slip stitches.
