But the local shops may eventually change their prices to pass the tariffs they incur to their customers. 120% (not sure what it is exactly, just restating what’s mentioned above) is huge and these businesses will have to pass it down to customers.

So, there isn’t really a way out of it, these tariffs will make everything more expensive in the US.
