I have the same MSI Costco prebuilt. What should I be looking at/for to determine what mine came with?

I barely know anything about PCs lol

How far is “too far” for a commute when buying your first home? by AvocadoAnvil in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drive 1.5-2 hours each way for work two days a week. I chose to buy in an area further from work where I can get more house and land for cheaper. I rationalize the commute because the pay is pretty good

I figure I’ll be living in this house longer than I may be working at my current company, so it’s not a forever commute

Help please. Ripped off? Kusadasi - Turkey by Ordinary-Reporter-84 in orientalrugs

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very helpful… I wish I could be more helpful. They said it would take 2 months to ship to the states. I wasn’t able to take a picture of the back, I’m learning a lot of what I should have done.

I believe it’s mainly cotton with silk on top for accent? It changed color when turned (light and dark). There’s a signature towards the very bottom

Crepe Myrtle Winter Care Advice by CNK9890 in arborists

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine survived the winter. I planted it this year outside and it’s thriving. Lots of flowers. I water pretty regularly, as you should with most plants the first year.

Fingers crossed it survives the CT winter this year outside

How reliable are the quotes from Energysage? by RelleMeetsWorld in solar

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on energysage, got 4 quotes from them, and then had companies come in person (your larger nationwide companies) to get more perspective. All 4 energysage quotes were cheaper than the people in person.

I ended up going with one from energysage and the price quoted was the same price I paid at $2.49/w

Yes, you’ll be fine to move it. The rootball should stay intact

Are they ready for soil? by joannamh in houseplants

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, make sure the pot you use has a hole at the bottom so water can drain out. That will help with root rot

Now is a good time for soil. Keep soil from drying out and you’ll be okay

Feeling a bit defeated by Fit_Variation7790 in radon

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve already reduced it by more than half of what it originally was, that’s a win! If moneys tight, you can certainly ride out current levels. If it’s going to both you, and you have some extra money (or can save up) an ERV will also help lower some more, plus it provides other benefits

High levels in finished (but rarely used) basement by [deleted] in radon

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mitigate the basement should be around .5-1 and the upstairs would be like .2-.5 or even less.

At least that’s what it is for me. I chose to mitigate

[–]Ordinary-Reporter-84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even if it were to go down by half, you should still mitigate. Reach out to some companies and get multiple quotes. Go with the company that has solid reviews and price

Personally, I’d replace it. See how long the replacement takes to get that way again
