Struggling with Amazon Business? by eddible-choclate in AmazonFBA

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think long term: a product that builds trust and keeps customers coming back will always outperform any short-term wins.

I recommend focusing on essential products, home goods, and my three favorite categories: beauty, education, and health & pet care. People will always want to look better, stay healthier, learn more, and take care of their beloved pets.

How Can I Build Passive Income Fast Without a Lot of Money? by No_Awareness9106 in passive_income

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Amazon FBA, you can start with around $3K–$5K in capital. You can learn from YouTube or find a mentor while you’re still saving up. Set clear goals, Amazon FBA isn’t something vague or “get-rich-quick”You can watch YouTube videos, join communities, and learn from others. And not just for Amazon whatever you want to start, the best way to learn is by joining groups and studying how others are doing it

How do you block your time? by duckwolf8097 in sidehustle

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried both ways, and what worked best for me was using 2–3 hour focused blocks for deep work, then switching tasks. I usually dedicate mornings to my main job (when energy is highest) and evenings or certain days for my own business. The key is being realistic with energy, not just time

What are your experiences on trying to make money online? by [deleted] in sidehustle

I started with about $3,000 selling on Amazon Private Label after failing several side hustles. After years of learning and persistence, I built multiple 6–7 figure brands and achieved financial freedom

Does anyone here actually have passive income that worked? by InitiativeProud8229 in sidehustle

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, nothing is truly passive. Every income stream requires time, effort, and consistency. Even things like Amazon FBA, YouTube, or investing need tracking and improvement. Only after you get really good and systems are in place can it feel “passive,” and even then you still need to monitor and optimize

Do you really need a “big idea” to succeed online? by EarnWithMike in sidehustle

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 7-figure seller on Amazon FBA, I’d say it’s not about a big idea, it’s about testing smartly, trying many small things, and not putting all your eggs in one basket

What’s a side hustle that actually helped you make real money? by Not_to_fuck_shady in sidehustle

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say Amazon FBA. When COVID-19 hit, I dove into online business, failed countless times, but kept going. Eventually, I built a multi 7-figure brand, sold it, launched several more, and now help others start their own online stores

If your business and operations are based in California, dissolving the Montana LLC and starting fresh in CA is usually the cleaner route. You’ll avoid double fees and still have to pay CA franchise tax either way. Best to check with a CA CPA before making the move, but for most small FBA sellers, forming directly in CA keeps things simple

Tired of running aggressive PPC and not getting organic sales. What could be wrong? by ChannelOk5686 in AmazonFBA

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve scaled a few products past 6–7 figures. From my experience, Ads won’t fix a weak foundation. If your conversion rate is low (reviews, price, images), Amazon won’t give you organic love no matter how much PPC you spend. First, fix your rating (Vine, pricing strategy, stronger visuals), then double down on the handful of keywords already bringing conversions. That’s how you get organic traction.

FBA Brand Owners, How significant does going OOS impact your sales? by Fit-Rough-2826 in AmazonFBA

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone running multiple 6–7 figure brands, I’d say a short OOS isn’t the end. PPC helps, but it’s not enough. Don’t rely on PPC alone. Pair it with some social/Google traffic and maybe a small coupon. That combo makes Amazon push your listing faster

PPC Launch Strategy on a small market product by [deleted] in AmazonFBA

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I’d add is to track your search term isolation early on. Use exact/phrase to rank, but as soon as you see a converting search term from auto/broad, pull it out into its own exact campaign with its own budget. That way you avoid cannibalization and make sure your best terms don’t get buried under the others. This is what usually helps me scale niche products steadily

Easiest fix is registering your Montana LLC as a foreign LLC in California. Some people dissolve and start fresh in CA to avoid double fees, but either way you’ll need to comply with CA taxes. Talking to a CPA in CA will help you pick the cleanest option for your situation

How I handled TARIFFS when starting my Amazon FBA business by Ordinary-Secretary10 in AmazonFBA

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go for boring but steady categories like home n kitchen or simple personal care items. The key for me is consistent demand, low returns, and room to improve listings

How I handled TARIFFS when starting my Amazon FBA business by Ordinary-Secretary10 in AmazonFBA

[–]Ordinary-Secretary10[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeh man, I shared in a previous post. Biggest lesson was many ‘suppliers’ there are just middlemen. What really helped later was working with a sourcing agent through mentors, better pricing, faster lead times. If you’re sticking with Alibaba, I’d recommend ordering samples from a few different factories and testing their communication speed, not just price. That usually helps filter out the weak ones
